Default ScrapBox Giveaway for my Mommy :) + pics

I do not know if it is within the rules but I am writing to win this for my mother. As much as I would love this in my craft space my mother deserves it more. I introduced her into cardmaking/scrapbooking a couple years ago and am very happy I did. She really needed a hobby with all her children out the house (one came back).

The ScrapBox would really help her keep organized (more room for better labeling) instead of having me re-organize her stuff every so often because she doesnt remember where something was supposed to go. She really does not have a BIG space and I think that this would be perfect for her. She is a really giving person and it would be wonderful if this could be given to her. She thought the Scrapbox products were awesome when I showed them to her.. but they are just not in her budget. I would hope that you would consider her

And we can do crafts together .. with my nana too?

Everyone calls my mommy NANA. She is the type of person that can get along with anyone.

We were talking the other day about how she really did nto buy anything for herself until my youngest brother was 13. So that would be about 21 years that she really didnt get stuff for herself. (That is crazy) But we had four kids in our family growing up and she always put our needs before anyone elses.

I do wish that she would have had the opportunity to do something more and go to college. But that would have been diffucult with us moving around every 3 years due to the military life. Right now she works at walmart as a department manager (with movign around dept ... sood to include the craft dept ;) ) and tome they do not deserve her. Her attutude is nothing like most employees. She is the one to walk you to where you need to be. The one to specifically show you. The one to even suggest something else that may be cheaper/better that what you already asked for.

I think she is very deserving

She is binging me on yahoo with 's so I will ennd the chatter about her today

Thank you! This Scrapbox would also allow both of us to Scrap together... and use up our stash. When I come to her house there really isnt enough room for us to both to roam around and find what we need to use for any particular project. With the desk attached would make it SOOO much easier for us to crop together And what is better than that

Awwwwww, you're a good daughter. My mother thinks its a waste of time to scrap so I have to hide my stuff when she comes over. The organizer meets my needs in a big way. Thanks for entering but the cabinet is MINE MINE MINE.

Good Morning everyone!!

I was thinking yesterday... Do you think this ScrapBox should go to the person with the biggest mess? I think this ScrapBox is an addition ... so the person can become MORE organized. You can be orgaized with cereal boxes cut in half even stored in other boxes... and have stuff in baggies. You can have a ton of creative ways to keep yourself organized. But in the end I think that it is the individual that is going to have to keep organized. As magical as this box is ... if you can not stay organized it will not do it for you.

Feel free to post your opinions

I think the scapbox should go to someone who needs a place to be orgainized.. (like Me!!!) I have no room.... These gals that have rooms over run with stuff, they'll get the box and pile more stuff into it and then more stuff into the room around it...lol:rolleyes:

I completely agree... and this is why I think my mom deserves it. Her room isnt all messy with things everywhere. She has places for things... and this tool is wonderful for BETTER organizational skills. Instead of having a place for stickers... you are able to break the category into type or color making things easier to find and more importantly USE

Best of Luck,
Kera

cereal boxes cut in half...there's a new tip for me...what do you or your mom keep in cereal boxes....I agree that this box will not clean up a messy room...I am hoping to win just so I will have a place to keep all my supplies together...cut down on all the time I spend hunting and gathering...and more time for the actually stampin/crafting...visit my scavenger hunt thread when you get a chance...

Heidi~
I was just saying that there are several ways that you can organize yourself. More so for the people that have an extremely messy room. Yeah it would be great for a before and after pic... but just wonder how long it would stay that way.

How do you think this scrapbox would change the way you organize your space?
This box will allow my mother better opportunity to further organize what she already has making things easier to find and put away (so I am not coming in 'auditing' her supplies). But at least I can say that she does put everything away.

Best of Luck!

I have to agree with you, unfortunately it appears if someone can't keep an area somewhat organized and clean, how is this beautiful piece of furniture going to be used. Some pics I saw actually had garbage in the pic (a mcdonald's cardboard cup holder)

good luck to you.

Yes I have to agree with this. I have no room either oh and don't forget, no table!! I also believe that those with a room so full they can't walk into will pile on more and into the Scrapbox.

The Scrapbox should be well taken care of, kept clean, polished and organized as that was what it was made for.

So don't worry ladies I will take very good care of it as I need it and it's wonderful fold out table more than any of you.

Click on my thread and just wait till you see my "CLoset" Video!!
Coming soon ....maybe within one more hour..it's still up loading.

Note to self: Buy some polish for my mom ... so I can polish the scrapbox for her

The table will be wonderful!! She really needs the room to have and area to scrapbook and make cards.

Best of Luck!

Just a Little Bumpity bump bump ... a reminder that my mother is a very deserving person. She would take care of this wonderful box. She would (more than likely) scrap and do her crafting projects a lot more. Not to mention that there is a TABLE attached! I will have a place to sit and scrap with her. What could be better (in the crafting world) than that? NOTHING ... seriously ... I think my mother is a very deserving person that is worthy of this awesome tool for organization that would complement her space

Best wishes to the contestants

Just want to give Kudos to those that have a somewhat organized craft room/space/closet. This would be a great addition to someone who already has some sort of organization already in progress. My mom would love this Best of luck to those that have entered

do you have photos you can post of your mom's current work space, and some samples of things she's made?

I will have to ask her to take a pic of her scrap space to post on here... She really does not post/ take pics of her work yet. She usually makes cards when they are needed at the moment. And some random creations in her room.

Hopefully I can find some of the projects that she has made and post them here as well

Isn't it wonderful when we introduce something to our parents and they really enjoy it? I feel the same way. I just love being able to do something that my parents love too - and the fact that both my parents craft together makes it even better to me! Good luck!

I will not be able to post a picture until sunday ... my mom left to see my older brother do disc golf a state or two away.

HoJo- I really love that I introduced this to my mother. My sister tells me all the time that she is happy that our mom has a hobby and has somethign she enjoys doing. It is awesome! Now having both parents do it... that is great

Ahh ... it is getting close to the end of this contest!! So I think I need...

ANOTHER PLEA .. as to why my mother is so awesome and I think that she is a very deserving person for this scrapbox.

It is so cute when we are IM'ing each other on yahoo ... and she tells me she is playing with her cricut. Who knows what she would be doing if she had not been introduced to this awesome hobby. It makes me happy that she has found (I introduced) a hobby that she enjoys. It is really good for an escape on her job and sometimes life. We pamper my mom every now and then ... and I think this would be the icing on her scrap life.

Thank you for reading
