Smile Pics of New Studio

Well, I finally got to taking pics of my new studio or I should say renovated studio. It's on my blog, but I'll get the pics uploaded to my gallery today or tomorrow.

I love how it turned out and have so enjoyed creating in an organized environment. Of course, lots of my ideas came from here. So a big thank you to everyone! You're the best.

thank you Joy. Yes, I love the cabinets too. After being in clutter for so long, it is nice to put it away, know where it is and look nice.

Also, several have commented on the little clear shelves I have some of my MS punches on. They are actually display items I purchased from a stamp store that was going out of business. I have lots more MS punches in my metal cabinet with little drawers. I plan to switch them out when I want to look at something "new".

Thank you to everyone for such sweet comments!

I can't believe it's the same room. You did a wonderful job. I bet you LOVE creating in that space. I like your big letter name on the wall, that's so cool.

Looks great! You have lots of good storage. Is it working for you or are you still refining?

I love your room. I adore the colors. That sock monkey in the Cadillac is too darn cute.

I love your die cutting setup. I have a lot too and use them for different things. I am always inspired to see different set-ups. I am so jealous you have an Grand Mark. !

The ceiling fan is adorable. I just put up one in my craft room. Now, I wish I painted mine. ;)

Thank you for sharing your room with us. I loved it.

Good job on the craft roo reno - love the transformation. I've just moved into a new house a few weeks ago and I'm working on setting mine up right. I've already had to make some adjustments, and just moving a couple of peices of furniture is a big task. I' like some of your ideas.

Lisa - I'm still refining, but not as much as I thought I would. It's all working out pretty good. I just got a pink stool that's adjustable to go with my island if I want to sit. Have to get a picture soon of that.

Thank you to everyone for your kind comments. I've been stamping since 1991 so I had lots of stuff. It is very refreshing to be able to create knowing exactly what I have and where to find it. I've had several classes since I finished and it's so much easier to plan and organize the class. Though I don't have the classes in my room I can set up the big shot, embossing gun, etc. for their use. The room I set up in for classes is just outside my stamp room.

And it is my little "haven" that I spend a lot of time in. I've not bought a card since I started stamping and I send a lot. And I make a lot of gifts. I'm still not a scrapbooker, but I may do more of that now.

Thanks again for looking!

They are the Bygel towel bars from IKEA. The ones I used are 24 in and cost $1.99/each, but you can get wider ones. I got the idea from others as a lot of rooms I saw had them. I had the contractor add another 2x4 in order to have something to screw them into, since the bars were wider than the studs. I knew where I wanted them so this was easy to do.

Thanks to everyone for looking!
