Organizing Cricut Solution Cartridges
Hi everyone,
I thought I'd share how I store those pesky Solutions cartridges that don't come in their own box. Hope it gives you ideas on how to organize your toys :) Here's the link: http://craftingwithclass.blogspot.co...solutions.html |
I like this idea. While I like the boxes so I can see at a glance what I want, they definitely do take up quite a bit of space which is always a big deal with our scraprooms.

I get the cricut storage boxes from custom crops-
http://www.customcrops.com/product_i...s_id=231125910 they come in fonts or shapes and hold 8 cartridges and overlays-on sale for $6.99. Sarah |
I removed all my cartridges, overlays, and booklets from the boxes. I store the boxes inside the large boxes my Cricut and Expression came in and what doesn't fit, I put on top on a useless counter in my hallway.
I took the cartridges, etc and organized them into categories that worked for me and now store them in small Snapware plastic boxes (clear with purple lids). I have 2 for just fonts and the other 5 are organized in categories depending on the images. Each box is labeled with the cartridges it contains. I also took out (carefully) the non-English pages from the front of each booklet. I'm speak English in the US so I don't need foreign language pages. They take up lots less space that way. Really makes a difference for space and ease of finding things in them. These plastic organization boxes now sit on a shelf directly over my machines. Patti |
I keep my solutions cartridges in the packaging they came in. I cut the top and bottom off and put a strip of velcro on each side to hold it closed and hang the package on a hook on my clip it up.

I got a 5' by 8.5' white box that I bought from Michaels for $1.50. This is perfect for those solutions carts plus I can decorate it myself. Now I just need to put a magnetic strip so the lid can stay close when it stands up.
