Martha Stewart Home Office Supplies Discontinued at Staples: Now What?
I've been using the Martha Stewart mini binders and secure-top insert pages from Staples to store my metal dies (other than nesties). They are the perfect storage solution since there are three styles of inserts to fit everything from teeny-tiny dies to multi-die sets to long border dies: one with four trading-card size pockets, one with two medium-size pockets and one full-size pocket. The most important part is the extra flap at the top of each pocket to ensure that nothing falls out. I love the mini-binder size since they don't get too heavy to take on and off the shelf, even when jam-packed full. Now they are discontinued.
Does anyone here know of another source for similar inserts? If not, I'm wondering if there are enough of us to petition a company like Univenture ( Disc Packaging - Clear Envelopes - Custom Binders - Univenture, Inc.) to manufacture some.
Happy Easter everyone!
Anna

Can they be ordered from her directly? Has she discontinued her own office supply line or have they just stopped carrying it. I'd check out her site and email her company for alternatives in getting her products.

I've checked both Staples and Martha's sites and the products are being discontinued on both ends. Might try emailing Martha (haha!) and inquire about alternatives though...

That total sucks. Yeah, martha might get upset that someone wants to buys something she has and can't get to it. I'd check ebay too. So sorry.

Interesting.... I just checked Staples.ca again and they do have the two-pocket and one-pocket sheet protectors in stock again, as well as most of the other Martha items. Last time I was there all of the MS Home Office stuff was on clearance/sold out. Same thing when I checked at the local Staples store- the guy there told me the line was being discontinued. So now I'm confused! As well as very hopeful that perhaps these items are still being produced after all? Fingers crossed...

I checked out her stuff at one of our Staples last year and everything was more expensive than the regular office supplies. So-cheap me-I passed. I still have file folders I inherited from my folks that have to be over 50 years old with reinforced tabs and thicker material than today's stuff!

Ugh, I"m so mad. I loved her 4 pocket protectors. So great for die cut samples. I finally find a system that works and of course, it gets discontinued!

Ok let me get this straight, these are page protectors that have pockets in them like um baseball card holders? But there is no flap to keep them from falling out, just slit type openings? ScrapRack makes page protectors that have a flap that mostly keep them from falling out. I say "mostly" cause sometimes they do and they are so BIG, page wise, that they do not fit well in standard 12x12 album. You have to buy the binder that fits them. Ugh!!! I want something that will display my cuts, sayings etc...that will keep them in place that I do not have to spend so much money on. Dreaming aren't I?

Can't you try either Staples or Office Depot or Office Max to see if they can order the specific Avery protected sheet protectors that you need? Since they all carry Avery products, maybe they can order them for you. At least it's worth a try.
And if enough of us do that, maybe they'll start carrying them...

I had to call Staples to order (of all things some Sizzix dies and MS punches) in order to combine three gift cards I had. I mentioned that you ("someone") had been told if an item wasn't on the website it couldn't be purchased. She said as long as it/they is/are still being made, they can get it/them. Their research department might have to take three or four days to find the pricing, etc. but there should be no problem.
So try and call the Staples.com customer service. You might even get your choice of color or clear.
Hope this helps.
