Default 12 inch border strips

I have been looking for a way to store the 12 inch border strips for a long time. I would have liked to be able to keep them in their original packaging (the ones from K & Co.) but once you take them out to get the one you want, they are so hard to put back in the packages. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a Clip-it-Up that I bought several years ago for cheap (they aren't so cheap anymore). The bottom ring is perfect for hanging long thin items like border strips.

As an alternative, you might put them into a large zip-style bag (the kind that will hold 12x12 paper). Then use clothespins to hook the bag on a metal hangar, or punch a hole it in to hang on a pegboard hook. Are shoe boxes large enough to store 12" strips? If you have a file cabinet, you might even consider a file folder. Costly, but there are also folders with accordion sides to keep things from sliding out.

BTW ... I see that you are new and from California (where I live). Welcome! Where abouts in CA do you live?
