Honey, I Shrunk My Craft Room!

I had a wonderful craft room 12x25. Then circumstances caused my daughter and my grandson to move back in with my husbnd and I. Now I share my craft room with my 10 yr old grandson It is also his bedroom. I had to reduce my craft space from a whole room to about a 1/3 the space. I have a wire cube system that is weighed down with scrap supplies. It is bending under the stress. I tried to zip-tie it together to strengthen it and it still leans and the sides are bending. Its a HAZARD!!!. Meanwhile, I find toys, video games, boys' books, dirty underwear, smelly shoes, half eaten candy, sticks, leaves and an occasional unidentifiable gross, slimy object encroaching on my space or even laying on my pages in progress . I need an organization system that protects my "scrap stuff" from a growing boy and his lifestyle. The scrap box would be perfect! My grandson won't be leaving my craft room for at least 8 more years when he goes off to college! Ladies, I beg you....help me out.

This is the first "sad story" I've read, but I gotta say, you've got a good case!!

Thanks Wendy, its all true! I didn't mean for it to be sad, just in need of the ScrapBox.

Better let me have the scrapbox I would hate for your Grandson to get messy finger prints all over it. My son is 15 and no messy prints any more.. LOL
