Heart DESK OR WORK AREA IDEAS

I have been trying to figure a way to add some work area to my Jetmax cubes I recently added to my room. For only apprx. $25 dollars this is what I ended up making. Purchased the MDF board and peel and stick tiles at Home Depot. Will be going back soon to get enough supplies to make two more this week except will be making them into desk with the Jetmax as the bases. The work area measures 24 x 48. Used 12 x 12 tiles. For the edges I used my paper cutter to cut the strips to fit.

Would like to see what others use for work areas/desk on their Jetmax cubes.

Very nice! BTW, the Lowes carries melamine boards in 4x8 that match the materials the cubes and such are made from.

Very nice. I have 1/2 a bifold door over two filing cabinets to make a long narrow work area. It's long enough to have my stamp pad carousel at one end, papercutter at the other end and a large free are in the middle to work. It's only about 18 inches wide, which works for me because I can't just move it to the back of the table. I have to put it away.

Excellent idea with using the peel and stick tiles. I'm going to keep this in mind for the future!

I use pre made white shelves from home depot that match the cubes. I place them across the cubes so I can have an open, shelf area in my wall of cubes.
