No blender pen....too soft. Use Creative Mark stumps (you can get them at jerrysartarama.com). I use XpedX Brilliant White 80lb paper with wonderful success. I know there are lots of other papers that work well but not SU if I remember right. SU is a little too smooth I think.

I'm always happy with my results using SU Shimmery white.

You can get them individually. Michaels carries them, but their selection is usually pretty limited. I went to a local art supply store and just picked up the ones I didn't have.

Aaack! Do you know how long that has been like that and no one noticed?!

Peacock Green is 907 (for Forest Foliage). Thanks for pointing it out and I'll get it changed.

Default Possible matches to 2010 In Colors

Okay, please realize these are a guess only. I am having to work with only online pictures that compare to existing colors.

Melon Mambo
Probably 930 magenta...same as rose red

Dusty Durango
Probably 944 terra cotta, which is a bit redder than the color used for really rust

Crushed Curry
I am having a lot of trouble with this one and will have to wait and see. Nothing looks really good. Limepeel is too green, ginger root looks too tan.
1098 artichoke looks promising, but...

Bermuda Bay
Maybe 1006 parrot green, but it looks a bit too green to me

Rich Razzleberry
Maybe 1095 black raspberry

Soft Suede
948 sepia looks pretty good right now, but will see...

I can't order the paper until July 1 so if you are hungering after a more exact accounting, check again after I get my paper.

Of course, if someone wants to send me a scrap of each new in color.... I could surely get on it right away! (PM me for my address if you would absolutely love to send me a scrap of each!)

The only time I tried to use the gamisol technique, I picked a blue that matched my paper and used the odorless mineral spirits (It was the Mona Lisa brand that was pictured in a recent tutorial.) and it changed the color of blue so that it didn't match anymore. Does anyone else have that problem?

I have two sheets printed out with the list of colors, one I color the pencil on directly, the other I color the pencil on then use OMS over it so I can see it both ways, you are right the OMS does change the intensity and sometimes hue of the colors.

Are you ready for the RIGHT PC pencils for the new in-colors?

Melon Mambo 930 Magenta
Dusty Durango 943 Rust
Crushed Curry 1012 Jasmine
Bermuda Bay 1006 Parrot Green
Rich Razzleberry 1009 Dahlia Purple
Soft Suede 1094 Sandbar Brown

I have updated the download in the first post to include these colors.

Thanks for updating the colors.

One thing I did notice is that on the color list from Prismacolor #943 is listed as Burnt Ochre and not Rust. I couldn't find a number for rust.

You are right! I made a transcribing error...please correct as shown:

Dusty Durango 943 Burnt Ochre

I'll get the master sheet corrected as well.

And it is all done...thanks for finding the mistake!

Thanks for keeping this updated, Fionna!

Just to clarify: limepeel is the go-to color for Old Olive, River Rock, AND Kiwi Kiss? Which color would you say it is really closest to? TIA!

To be honest, Kiwi Kiss is the best match to Limepeel, for sure. Limepeel doesn't match either of the others as well.

I would consider using 1090 Kelp green (a color that is newer than when I first gave old olive the limepeel match) for the old olive. Just don't color quite as dark.

As for river rock...If you color limepeel really lightly it looks okay. If you color it lightly and then put a little of the ginger root over it and blend, it looks pretty good.

Thanks for pointing that out. I will check the kelp green for the olive in better light than I have right now on a cloudy windy cold day and probably change it.

PS...I like the quote in your siggy!

Thank you for clarifying that! I am looking to expand my greens, so I really wanted a match for Kiwi...I'll get the limepeel and the kelp green also! I also have Ginger Root (isn't that a match for the Naturals Ivory, too? Or something else?), so that gets me the River Rock .
On another thread, someone posted these:

Pacific Point - True Blue
Kiwi Kiss - Artichoke
Tangerine Tango - Mineral Orange

so they could be alternates. I haven't tried them in person myself.

Lastly, is there any where to find the Deco colors any more? I "need" Barely Banana especially! A lighter blue would be nice, too (I found the Bashful one to be a tad too dark)...

TIA!
PS Glad you like my siggy, it's a throwback to the time I spent in Current Events ha ha
