I thought there was a list posted somewhere that gave this information, but a search didn't come up with anything. :?
Can someone out there help me? I seem to get stuck in a rut using the same combinations over and over!

Thanks, Andy, but for some reason, I can't open the document. It sounds like just what I need, too!

This thread gives the the two-step combo chart that is available on the SU demo site. This I have; I am referring to a larger list that was posted (I think) on Stampin' Discuss maybe a year or two ago.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer with this.
Happy Heart, This is a Microsoft Word document and you must have that on your computer to down load. Although, Cindy thinks that this is not the document that you need. She is probably right, I only know of the one I attached for you and that has multiple color combos, all SU. If you want me, I can copy that right to here, if you really want this one. Just let me know.
Cindy, what do you mean, is there another list with only 2 color combos? I guess I missed that one. I will try to go to the site you gave in your message. Thank you for the information.
Andrea
I would also love a chart of 2 step colors that go well together. I have a couple 2 step stamp sets and sometimes have problems figuring out what colors look good together to use for them.
I found the one Cindy was leading us to and I will attach it here. You need Adobe.
Here are the instructions on how to use it.
Chart Instructions
The Two-Step Stampin’ chart features space for 30 different color combinations that look great with Two-Step Stampin’ sets. The chart also features the ink colors and item numbers used to create each image at the bottom of each box. We have listed both the Classic Stampin’ Pad and Craft Stampin’ Pad item numbers for your convenience. Either may be used to create this chart, just make sure you leave time for the ink to dry before stamping the second layer if you choose to use Craft pads.
1. Stamp the solid image in the lighter of the two colors (always the color listed on the left).
2. Stamp the outline image in the darker of the two colors (always the color listed on the right).
3. Proceed with the remaining boxes following the steps above.
This was a long list - posted about a year or maybe more on Stampin' Discuss (I think...could have been another SU site like Inkerbells, but I've checked there too). It was not in a word or excel document just listed, and it was long.
I've searched SD but to no avail. I believe this list was posted there but before SU revamped the forum.
If anybody remembers this list please post & thanks!
Happy Heart, here is the other list, I am putting it in the body of this post, just copy to where you want.

Here is a document that I made up for stamping with Roses in Winter.
I didn't create the wording for each step, it came from an email group and didn't give credit either.
Then I added some color combos that I have seen posted different places using Roses in Winter set.
Wow! You guys share such great information. On the Roses in Winter set, I don't have this set, but I'm planning a page with Terrific Tulips. Should I do the same kind of thing? Especially the stamping one off on the bolder colors? I never thought of that, but I did think that the Positively Pink came through a little "loud" when I stamp it full strength!
Thanks, Andy, Cindy, and Angie!
Great information! I knew I could count on the people here to have the answers!

Pulling this thread up from way, way back. Anyone have this two step stamping color chart with the current colors. (See post #7 for file) Not the In Colors just the current colors. It has retired colors like Bliss Blue and Baroque Burgundy.
Thanks!
Thanks for reviving this thread! I had just purchased watercolor mini's & here I was wondering what color combinations I should use with the roses & tulips! I love SCS.
her document came for viewing alright for me, if you right click on your mouse, it gives you other options, and enter on "open in another window" and it shows up then,
good luck

That is a great rock and roll chart but not what I am looking for.
In post 7 of this thread AndyJoe attached an adobe file for a chart from Stampin Up! for Two-Step Stamping. It has old retired colors. I was hoping that Stampin Up! had a new chart.
Emily Ann, it looks the same but it has the newer colors. The first row is probably the same but in the next row you'll see Pixie Pink, and the last row has Bashful Blue in place of Bliss Blue, and Pumpkin Pie in the row above it. Print it out and you'll see. HTH
It's a list of colors. But the space above is to show an example with the colors - that you yourself would actually stamp using a 2step set with the colors listed. It was a chart that demonstrators could use at their shows, but the combos work for anyone.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!! I am doing a happy dance!!!!
It was late when I looked at the chart and I was distracted by husband and kids. I should have looked at the whole list.
I REALLY appericate your posting this and helping me see that it is indeed what I was looking for!
There are many others who will find this chart useful as well.
Now to the printer to print it out and to the stamping room choose my favorite stamp to fill in the boxes. First I have to put the baby down for a nap!

I'm glad this post is back closer to the front. It will definitely come in handy and sometimes "searching" is a little unsuccessful. Or at least for some of the more "challenged" folks like me. LOL
Thank you everyone for all of your hard work - it is much appreciated.
