IC468 - Resurrect Antiques {11-22-14}
Surprise! I got off work early today so I'm posting this challenge really, really, early for Saturday! Feel free to get started Friday night if you'd like!
We all believe in repurposing and altering older projects, products, and 'found materials' to make them brand new again! This is our personal way of lowering the impact to the landfills! On that line of thought our inspiration site this week is Resurrect Antiques.com which was selected by our beautiful guest hostess Nancy Williams (aka nwilliams6). Nancy has been inspiring us with her wonderful creations since 2009. Her gallery continues to be one of my own favorite places to look for great ideas! You can check out her gallery here and to her blog here. Here's a bonus challenge: I challenge you to 'resurrect' something in your crafting supplies, that is over 2 years old, and use it today in your project! Will you take my bonus challenge? :p Enjoy!

My Card
Challenge Goals:
Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Resurrect Antiques web site.
Use the keyword: IC468 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
IC468 Gallery
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites (plus one that I found worth a smile!) so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

Delightful site, Nancy and Audrie. The wedding blog does look charming, Nancy. I used the site to inspire a thank you card that I needed to make. Thanks.

IC468 You're A Blast
Awesome inspiration- I loved the red and blue jute totes and used this card kit I made for a craft demo over a year ago, using SU's Pun Fun. Modified it a bit with a silver rocket body and baker's twine- much improved! Here's You're A Blast

IC468 Vintage Ornament
I haven't had time to play on the Inspiration Challenge for many months (kitchen renos have a way of taking over your whole life !!). I LOVED the site chosen today....absolutely wonderful.
I made a Christmas ornament with sheets from an old music book and some vintage chandelier crystals.

I made a second card today, using the beautiful screen divider card that Priscilla (catluvr2) made as a model.

IC468 Cool Yule
Got inspired by the green fish bottle opener with its oval shape and decorative detail. My SB decorative window die served as my background for my vintage Christmas ornament- using SU's Contempo Christmas set. Finished with some bling, distressing and coloring. Here's Cool Yule
