IC281 ~ Pink Vanilla Boutique {04-23-11}
Inspiration Challenge 281 ~ Pink Vanilla Boutique
A few weeks ago, Cindy aka Mothermark was out scouring the Internet for unique and inspirational tea pots when she stumbled upon Pink Vanilla Boutique. She thought the “non-tea-pot” items were so cute, that it would be fun to do an inspiration challenge inspired by the entire site … I heartily agreed. There are fun felt foods and adorable children’s outfits to inspire.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I’ve uploaded five of my favorites … so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. The rest of you, remember to let us know which item from Pink Vanilla Boutique that inspired you.
Use the keyword: IC281 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
Mothermark’s Tea Pot Sample ~ Pink Polka Dotted Tea for Two
Mothermark’s IC Sample ~ What a Fruit Cake!
My sample ~ Sweet Paris
IC281 Gallery
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

Is it just me or are most of the pgs under the headings blank? I only get about 3 or 4 categories that have anything under them.

Hi Julie! When you click on the heading off to the left, you then have to click on the *catalog* which is a link and then a bunch of other links come up....just keep clicking until you find the links. Hope that helps!
Or, you can click on All Items...and that brings them all up! There are not 42,000 items...its a pretty small site! Tee hee!!

Hey, Cindy! Long time, no see! Thanks, I was just thinking I had a problem seeing them. I think I found my picture. It goes so well w/ a card I finished, it's hard to tell which came first, lol. Don't you just love reverse engineering? Anyway, here's my Red Butterfly. Thanks so much for looking!

What a darling website. No little girls in my house who could benefit from the items, but I'm hoping my friend will like the card I made for her, which was inspired by one of the felt cakes.
Four Square Fruit Cake
Happy Easter, everyone!
