Feel free to translate the inspiration item into a card, a scrapbook page, or another project. Be inspired by the colors (earthy), the theme (house, windsock), or anything else -- this is up to your own interpretation!
When I first saw this inspiration, it totally remined me of this card, already in my gallery: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I didn't want to make anything like that again, so I used the colors, and a little bit of the layout, to come up with this one:
Karen if that is a painting...well I have been an artist since about 1st grade! I could have been making tons of money and didn't know it. That's the whole picture or did you crop it?
I have an idea and hope to get to it tomorrow.

The painting (at least I think it is) -- I found at art.com; and as far as I can tell that is the whole thing (I kept the "item number" so I can look it up if you like). I agree though, when I first saw it I was "ew", but when I really looked at just the lines I thought it had potential.
I thought I had a great idea and went to the stamp room this afternoon and totally bombed! Some attempts are just like that, well for me anyway. So if I get time Ill give it another try tomorrow because I have this new stamp that I think would be perfect.
I've had a lot going on the last couple of weeks, so I'm a little behind in some of the challenges. I'll have to work on this one (& last week's!). Thanks for the inspiration.
Karen, as luck would have it I was reading a thread you posted to when my email notification came in for this photo approval...easy hook up to your thread here from your signature, thanks!
I got one done and I had a hard time because I was trying to incorporate a door into my card and nothing was working out. So in thinking that the card I made was inspired by my Dad and his favorite side of the door was to the outside...well I decided this would work and I hope you like it it! At least the bottom half is green like the painting!
Ok here's mine. I looked mostly at the windsock and the angle it is at. Plus some of the coloring. My card doesn't look a whole lot like the pic, but as soon as I saw the painting, I knew what I wanted to do.
Okay, I've never done one of the inspiration challenges, but I think I might give it a try! I'm gonna go to my mailbox first to see if some stamps I ordered have arrived...
