Hello all. Kia here with you today for my first "official hostess" of the Inspiration Challenge. We are well into December with Christmas just around the corner. I hope you are all almost ready!
Did you know, we have an Inspiration Challenge Pinterest Board?Be sure to check it out! For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, & since some sites have limited viewing areas, I've uploaded MANY images to help inspire you. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
**Please note: If you are unable to view the Inspiration Site in your country, please visit theirPinterest Boardor use one of the pictures provided for you (thumbnails below). Unfortunately, we have no control over the sites' viewing areas. **
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining us on this inspiration journey.

NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE?
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.

Fun site, Kia - alot of those displays look like slices of cake ( I must be hungry) Even though I'm severely allergic to all this kind of stuff, it was a fun site to explore.
kia- awesome site! I was inspired by the Peppermint Scrub- and created my scene with an inverted glass bowl, a red felt elf hat, adhesive gems, and for my "scrub"- a small jar of Tiger Balm from my travel bag. Background is a red holiday coffee takeout cup that I flattened and decorated with candy cane washi tape. Aren't these the cutest little elves? Here's Peppermint Scrub Elves

My inspiration was this: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/374432156525583325/
Go figure, it's called Honky Tonk Man lol. A honky tonk man to me, while typically is a musician also, is also almost always a cowboy. I think my profile picture will give you an idea of my Honey. The picture was taken out on a trail ride at Red Mountain northwest of Fort Collins, CO. He's all, 100% cowboy, and my Honky Tonk Man.
That said, I wanted a swirly, marbled background, but I had never done the shaving cream. Learned something new and LOVED the way it reflected this soap! We have cowboy, swirly colors, and it all smells like shaving cream to boot!! Good times my friends, good times!

I'm working on my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking goal, plus my 2022 Christmas card stash.
I chose this inspiration to guide me on colors for my Christmas card...traditional or non-traditional? Traditional colors won out when I found this colorful Lip Scrub to fit for this challenge: Watermelon Slush Lip Scrub!
