Hi, http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/wavesmile.gif & Welcome to this week's Inspiration Challenge. This week we are headed to a pinterest board /blog called Simply Woven Always Vintage. Their Pinterest boards start here. The Blog can be found here. Nope, as a disclaimer, I have never purchased from them. I just like to see distressed things and I happened across this shot they saved and liked it. I had told my self I would be making as many of my samples for the teams I am on as Christmas cards as possible this year. I am sure I will run out steam on that when the weather gets sweltering hot out side but, at the moment its still what is going on here. Hopefully you will see something that jump starts an idea for you too.
Have fun with this, I am looking forward to see what sparks you all. Use the keyword: IC846(no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. IC846 Nutty Squirrel
I was inspired by the Vintage File Cabinet with the orange accent piece- I needed a wacky birthday card for my 29 year old son- so I fussy cut this squirrel image, using watercolors for the sentiment and squirrel. Background has copper gilding flakes, accented by a copper baker's twine bow. Finshed with a woodgrain washi tape top border for my easel. Here's Nutty Squirrel
