Inspiration Challenge 293 ~ Maggie Austin Cake

This week’s Inspiration Challenge was suggested by Melody (lacyquilter). She thought we would all find inspiration from the elegant edible designs of Maggie Austin Cake. Exclusively custom and exquisitely tailored, Maggie Austin designs display symmetry, elegance, and sophistication with the subtle yet unmistakable mark of haute couture.

For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I’ve uploaded five of my favorites … so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. The rest of you, remember to let us know which item from Maggie Austin Cake that inspired you.

Use the keyword: IC293 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.

Thanks for the lovely inspiration site, Steff and Melody. That gal Maggie has real talent for sure. I chose the Carolina Cake for my inspiration to create an anniversary card. I substituted a coral hue for the Magenta - seemed to fit better for the the couple that will receive the card.

This is a beautiful inspiration site, and I think I gained 10 lbs just looking! But there's a cake with bees all over it . . . Please, friends don't ever give me a cake with bees on it! ! ! EEEeek!
