Welcome to the annual Hope You Can Cling To challenge and card drive, what an amazing time of year! We can create and help others at the same time. There is nothing I like more than sending a homemade card of encouragement.
Remember that the most important part of this challenges is actually mailing your cards to MD Anderson - this challenge is such a blessing to the patients and their families, and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity throughout the month.
My challenge is to make a freestyle collage card.
If you'd like to join in the Mix-Ability challenge today, make your card hope themed using 2 or more art mediums, and add keyword MIX140!

UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. All Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Entries must be uploaded to the Hope You Can Cling To Gallery, with the specific challenge keyword, no later than November 7th, 2015 at 12:00 Noon Central Time to be eligible for our fabulous prizes! Post a link to your entry in this thread.
2. You may not use multiple challenge keywords, but you are welcome to create multiple cards for each challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
4. Please package all challenge entries with an envelope, protected with a clear plastic bag and mail them to our partner at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center to benefit patients being treated for breast cancer and their family. We would like for them to receive cards throughout the month of October, but we understand if you'd like to mail all your cards at once.
5. Since these cards will be used by visitors for patients, most should be blank inside, but feel free to send cards with messages of hope for the patients in addition to your challenge cards!

Uh - Oh. I have no idea what a Freestyle Collage card is! I've never even grasped the concept of a mixed media card! Guess I'll be punting at this a little later in the day....

Thanks, Teresa, for challenging me to get out of my comfort zone for this freestyle collage. I really don't "get" collages, so they are difficult for me to make. I tremble when I have to stamped an image over another image. LOL!
But I dug through my stash of bits of this n that and put together this Elemental Collage.

a freestyle collage = basically anything you want to throw together! I like digging in the pile of rejects or non used items, a little of this and a little of that...nothing but fun! You cannot do this one wrong, it's FREE!

Teresa- this is a challenge up my alley! Used the autumn hued paper bits from another project- along with this cool grey vintage style panel, and a dotted swiss card background. Stamp set and matching die is: HYCCT1502 Sending Hedgehugs
