Well, at the moment I'm a member! Honestly the thing that intrigues me is just being able to stamp again in the same spot if you mess up. I really don't mass produce or do anything fancy, so I probably don't need one other than to save a little cardstock and some frustration. We'll see if I talk myself out of it before Friday or not.

There NEEDS to be a MISTI in every house. (My boys make some smart comment every time they see me using mine.)

Well, as cool as a MISTI is, I'd rather have a real LIVE Misti come visit me than to have a plastic MISTI here all the time!!

You're not solo in the non-MISTI owner - I'm in there too .

Personally I am planning to clear a couple of wish-lists in the sales because I aim to pretty much go on a stamp freeze in the new year and just buy consumables. And in truth, my wishlists aren't that big, but waiting for the sale makes shipping bearable -especially when the exchange rate is so stinking rotten.
I need to do that as well as I have so many stamps!! I have a few dies on my list that I would love, but I need to quit getting more stamps. Maybe I won't get the Holiday Grumplings... I dislike the holidays though, so they would make perfect cards from me! lol

Lol I get extremely grumpy if I have to make the same card more than once. It would be helpful for sentiments, but at that price...

I need storage more than anything. I keep trying to save up and then some shiny stamp set catches my eye. I'm weak!!

Yes - mass production really isn't the gold of the MISTI at all - it's the perfectly inked images, the straight sentiments - the way you can do masking and special effects. I never stamp without it!

Congrats to all the new winners!!!

I think I need some Excedrin and a cat nap to ditch this headache before I start all the stuffing prep work.

I hope to see more winners when I check back. It's so exciting to see all the wonderful stampers get such great prizes.

Default Misti

I got a Misti for an early birthday gift - from my friend Lisa (birthday is on Turkey day this year) ... and I just love it!!! It is great for the really big stamps that are hard to hold on an acrylic block ... and yes it is easier to re-stamp something if it shouldn't completely stamp right the first time. I love it!!

Oooh, yay! I'm so excited! I've been eyeing Concord and 9th! The only thing is it's a prize package instead of a gift certificate so now I'm afraid to order stuff this weekend, lol!

Congrats to all the winners!!!

Thank you for being a sponsor...

Forget my previous post...guess I don't have to go shopping...just sit back and wait for a package to arrive...I can handle that...

Still thankful...

WooHoo!!! Look at all those winners! How fun!!!

You know, I was in a Stitch from Stash group last year with some cross stitching friends. The goal was to spend no more than $25 a month on your stash (shipping wasn't included...) You couldn't operate in the red, but you could carry over any amount you saved to the next month and the next. Occasionally the group leader would give us a use it or lose it bonus - say $50. Maybe I'll try that method on my stamping this year!!

Yay! Chic and Savvy Crafters! I send people to them for clear envelopes all the time but I've never ordered anything other than envelopes myself!
Congrats to all the winners....that was a bunch at once!

I could NEVER achieve spotless....I'm shooting for decluttered and acceptable.

Decluttered is always my goal, but one I never reach. My kitchen is clean but the rest of the house? Don't even ask!

I have a sign in my craft room that says, "A Place for Everything and Everything in its Place." I swear that when I'm sleeping, my craft stuff creeps out and goes everywhere but where they should be!

Just a quick check in while everyone is napping, congratulations to all the new winners. Only missing 1 DS who is in China but we'll try to Skype with him tommorrow. Love having most of my kiddos home! Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I had such a good time doing the challenge. It was good for an introvert like me to put myself out there with my cards. Everyone was very kind in their comments.

I'm much neater than most of my family, but I have a friend who makes me tired just by telling me all she's cleaned during a day! Plus then she cleans for her mom and cleans at the church! She's awesome....wish some of that rubbed off on me. My place is neat and organized, but you can write your name in the dust on occasions!

Hi everyone! Happy Thanksgiving!
I've been keeping busy getting ready for Thanksgiving, gathering items for a local adopt-a-child for Christmas program & nursing a two day migraine. >.<
I have to read through the posts I missed since my last visit, but did notice a mention of Introverts. I have to share a quote that finally made my husband "get it" (he's an extreme extrovert - I wouldn't call myself an introvert, I prefer homebody. )

"Introverts Unite! We are here. We are uncomfortable. We want to go home!"

LOL! I've seen it on posters and t-shirts.

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners!

I don't know what I am.

I'm most comfortable in one to one meetings and do well in groups up to three or four. I tend to get quiet in larger groups and I hate parties, even with people I've known for years and years. I feel like I'm socially inept and don't know how to hold a simple conversation. I end up wishing I wish I could just lean against a wall and disappear.

Oddly enough, I have no problem starting conversations with strangers, asking about their lives, etc. Maybe that's just years of practice, since I used to work in the journalism field. Or maybe its because there is no expectations from strangers. Truthfully, I don't know why this is.

And I'm like Lydia when it comes to needing lots of time alone. I have a blast running around laughing and chatting with a friend but at the end of the day I can't wait for my alone time. I find the exchange exhausting and could easily spend then next five, seven, ten days in a row locked in my house not speaking to another human being other than son.

I'm an introvert who isn't shy and loves the occasional big event like a conference, comic-con, or trip to Disneyworld. But those are few and far between and the rest of the time I would rather stay home.

Yes! What Paula said!

Just saw my name on the Chic & Savvy winners list! Whhoooo! Thank You!
I'd never heard of them (embarrassed), and their site is down so I dodn't know what to expect. I did a search in SCS and saw rave reviews of their service. I'm uber excited now!

Introverts can be comfortable in social settings but the key to whether you're an introvert is how you feel afterwards. After a party or time with people I'm so full of energy and could talk and talk about the time with the people. With my introvert family members...all they want to do is be alone. They are totally drained by being around people. Sounds like you're an introvert.
The MBTI is a good test to take to understand yourself and other family members regarding personality type.
