Happy Monday everyone! I thought I would make our challenge really easy today! Please play along with us today and help us fill up this gallery, and get some pages done along the way!
Challenge: Create a page showing contrast! Let contrasts inspire your page! Use contrasting colors, themes, shapes or elements on your page; circles and squares, stripes and polka dots; maybe contrast words in your title.
Definition of "contrast": To set in opposition in order to show or emphasize differences:
To show differences when compared: a color that contrasted clearly with the dark background.
The act of contrasting; a setting off of dissimilar entities or objects. The state of being contrasted: red berries standing in vivid contrast against the snow.
The use of opposing elements, such as colors, forms, or lines, in proximity to produce an intensified effect in a work of art.
The difference in brightness between the light and dark areas of a picture, such as a photograph or video image.
I look forward to seeing your pages! As always, they can be paper, digi or hybrid!!! Please remember to add SIC125 and sbc12may (or whatever month you do this challenge in, because you can do this challenge anytime you want. There is no time limit!) to your keywords so we find your pages.
And please post a link in this thread, so we know you did one for this challenge.
Love your dps, Nancy. You always make such interesting, artsy pages. I love your hybrid layout--well, I love both pages, but it's always fun to make a hybrid page. Great take on the contrast challenge!
Here's my page. I used the colors Lime Green and Purple....would that be contrasting? ;) Worked out great that they were the colors for the truck DGS got as a present!

I posted my page ages ago, but I realized I never added a link to this thread, so here's my layout. I used contrasting colors of blue and yellow. Thanks for another fun challenge.

I did see your page, and don't think at the time that I commented that it was for this challenge too! I loved it! Thank you for playing this challenge, too!
