Welcome to our 4th Monday of the month challenge. I've decided to call it Get it Scrapped. Why? Well, because that's something we all need to do! Whether you are doing project 365 with a photo a day, project life, snapshots of my life, a year in the life, taking 10 photos on the 10th, or are simply backlogged in digital photos such as I am...this is the challenge that we'll help us to get them scrapped. And even if you don't fit any of the categories I've listed above, I'm still gonna have an option for you in this challenge!
For Get it Scrapped you may choose from one of the following challenges or you can combine any of them that you like:
Create a layout that is a month in review of all those photos you've been taking this year
Create a layout that is an event in review such as, birthdays, vacations, holidays, baby's first year, school year in review, etc. This will allow you to at least get the hi-lites of the event scrapped and you can go back later and add some more detailed pages of the events.
It's January so this would be the perfect time to scrapbook your resolutions, goals, and visions for 2010. This layout is perfect for those of you who are doing a year in the life album.
Color me January- use one of the attached color palettes on your multi-photo double page spread. Use at least 6 photos.
For you digi-scrappers I have found a little something extra that you might enjoy using: Debbie Hodge, the author of "Get it Scrapped", has a forum in which she offers sketches and sketch bundles. The bonus is with each sketch she also offers a zipped file with layered psd files and templates that you may download for free. These are all multi-photo templates and you may find them in the Get Sketches forum. You do not have to be a member of the forum to access these.
Well, I think I have included something for everyone in this challenge.
Now, as many of you know...here is where I would normally post my sample. Unfortunately, we received some bad news this weekend about my Mom's brother and I haven't really been able to get any scrapping done. So, I don't have my sample page ready for you yet. I will be back with it.
I am asking a special favor from you all to uplift him in your prayers. He has been diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure (and this is happening just like it did with my Mom this past summer). His case is not looking as promising as my Mom's and they can't get him into surgery until February 25th. However, I am asking and believing for the same miracle that our Heavenly Father provided for my Mom and if you all will believe that with me I would be forever in your debt.;)
Now...carry on with the challenge! Please use the keyword IFC63 when uploading your creations to the gallery. You can find all creations submitted for this challenge HERE

Thanks for the great challenge Jenn. I have the perfect page for my Germany album. I'm nearing the end of it now (so far 42 pages and more to come).
I'm so sorry about your uncle. I will be sending good wishes your way.

Thanks Candy, Patti, Wendy, and Deb for your kind words and thoughts. I'm glad you like the challenge and I hope you are inspired to create something. :p
Wow great challenge Jenn. Lot of ideas, we could get several pages done with this one challenge! Will pray for your Uncle.
GREAT challenge, Jenn (as always!) I know just the pages I'm going to do when I get home from this trip. I asked everyone in my family what their "hope" was for 2010.
I will pray for your Uncle. Keep the faith!

Jennipher...so sorry to hear of your family's challenges right now...will keep you all in my prayers.
Wow...what a great find with that website and the sketches! Thank you so much. I have to make and download a page for this Friday so I might be able to use one!
Ok here is my page and the story of how far behind I am in scrapping some of my pictures. As you all know I just recently retired from nursing after 30+ years. These are pictures of my capping ceremony (1971) that I had in a drawer. Guess it is time to get them scrapped! Thanks for the challenge Jenn.
Jennipher, here's praying and hoping they can get him in sooner
Here is my submission, which worked perfectly with Sally's recent sketch challenge Maddy at the Dentist

Well, you got me inspired to do a paper dps, Jennipher!!! I used the first color combo--the blues, greens, yellow. It was fun to find colors in my stash. Thanks for the great challenge--I think I'll go through all the templates now and do a digi for this challenge too!

You all have done a fabulous job with this challenge and although you really did need a sample page from me...it is my job to supply one. I got these 2 pages scrapped sometime earlier in the week but just got around to scanning them in. I decided to scrap the hi-lights of an event and I had exactly 10 photos from Charity's 1st birthday that I didn't even take. Didn't have my camera that day. I remember it well. It was a weird day for me. It was a Saturday and on the following Monday I was going in for a lung biopsy so I did not feel much like celebrating and I guess I wasn't thinking about how much I would want to have photos later on to scrapbook.
Anyway...I got my 10 photos of that event SCRAPPED!
Here's my page for the challenge. I know I did one previously but this worked for a different section...event in review. These pics are from 1988 and I'm glad to have gotten them out of an album and onto a scrap page!
