Some time ago we hosted a fantastic fall event for SCSers living in the New England area. It was a HUGE success and a ton of fun – and we’ve been asked to host another many times over.
Well, that time has arrived and we are ready to host another great event for you this autumn!

New England Splitcoaststampers Fall Fest II
Saturday, October 3, 2009 Londonderry Senior Center, Londonderry NH
9:00 am - 4:30 pm (Registration 8:30 - 9:00)
Attendance is Limited. Register Early! The Previous Event Filled Quickly!!
This non-profit event includes the following:
Make & Takes
Demonstrations
Swaps, both traditional and shoe box style
Challenges
Prizes & Giveaways, including a Grand Prize give-away, a Big Shot Die Cutting machine
Displays
Box Lunch
Socializing & networking with your favorite local SCSers

I would so love to attend, but it would be a nearly 4 hour drive for me. Is there any local lodging? Maybe I can get a few friends together and we can make it a weekend getaway.
I was so happy to come home from Convention and see this gathering. The first one was fabulous and very well done. I will check with my family and I hope to go.

And yes, there's lots of local lodging in this area. The Londonderry Senior Center is literally about 6 minutes from the Mall of New Hampshire (Manchester, NH) and there are a couple hotels near there and even a couple by the Manchester Airport, also about a 7 minute ride from the Senior Center. It would make a great girls get away!! And like Kay said, people really enjoyed themselves at the last one. I'd even venture to say it's like a mini Convention minus the business talks! LOL

I have just completed my registration form and it will go out in tomorrow's mail. For anyone who is considering this event, I would highly recommend it. These ladies did a fabulous job in 2005! Can't wait to attend.

I believe what we had planned was to do the shoe box swap for a set period of time at the end of the day. I am sure that Julie will be getting back to you about this. We will look forward to seeing you again soon!
