OK... that's my 2 cents.

Does scrapbook factory or Archivers open before 9?! I would come over early if I knew I could shop...
Archivers opens at 9:30 and SBF opens at 10:00.

Another question ladies. I have had problems with online directions, mapsonus is saying that Vandalia is 159. So I would take 159 S from 55. I want to make sure I don't get lost. Do these directions sound right?

Thanks!!!

Kelly did you try www.mapquest.com I normally use that for my directions. See if it gives you anything different. I am directionally disfunctional. LOL

Hope you guys are all having fun at Zapata's, I think I'm all ready for tomorrow. Got my shoebox swap done and in individual bags, got my White Elephant finished and wrapped (not an awesome stamped giftwrap but it will have to do...something good inside, though!) and my little personal goodie bag of scissors, adhesive, etc. mapquested the directions (wow, we are much closer to Collinsville than I realized) AND I even managed to make a nametag which I didn't think that I was going to be able to find time to do. Not a barnburner or anything but not my name scribbled in sharpie marker on an address label either...

See you all tomorrow....am swinging by Panera for a vanilla latte in the a.m. then meeting up with my carpool buddies before we head north to Collinsville. Jan from O'Fallon, IL

Heck, my white elephant isn't wrapped with something homemade, it's in a store bought gift bag.

Hey you lucky ladies! Just wanted to send best wishes out for you all tomorrow. I'm a bit green with envy because I couldn't make it this year. I'm so sad and started having a bit of a pity party earlier this evening so.....

I WENT AND BOUGHT BOTH THE MEGA & GIGA MARVY SCALLOPED OVAL PUNCHES.

I would still rather be there with you all tomorrow. I'll be thinking about you all and hopefully finding a few moments to play with my new punches.

Post updates after you all get home. I want details!

I was there at 9am, we started stamping about 10:30ish, and I left at 6pm with about 10 cards that I just had to grab and stamp the image

We played a couple games, the white elephant exchange had to be cut really short - just called numbers and handed out gifts but we really didn't have a lot of time - - - - it takes a long time to stamp 40+ cards

there were a few people taking pictures so we should have some good pictures posted.

there were awesome cards there!!! Some were embossed backgrounds with the cuttlebug - - - I so want a cuttlebug now!!

Thanks to Tracy, Randi, Autumn and Carla, you gals rock!!

Lynn, we missed having you there. I think I came pretty close to getting all 40+ cards together, but it took all day.

It was after 7 when Melissa and I headed home. The day was great fun with great games and lots of new ladies to meet. The cards will be posted shortly I hope, I didn't have a camera but there were lots of pictures taken.

Can we post the cards to last years link so they are all together?

BTW - just heard from my husband in the ER with my 3 year old (he took her since he was with her all day and knew her symptoms). They said that she has Tonsilitis, that it is contagious and her 2 year old sister may already have it too based on her symptoms. So I am glad I left and came home so we could get her started on Antibiotics, get her fever down and get her feeling better.

When I told the group I had to leave tonight, somebody commented to me that I should have told the group sooner so they could have had more time to finish with my project - - - that is why I wanted to let you know that I got a phone call and had to leave suddenly - - - I didn't just up and decide to leave suddenly - my daughter was ill and I needed to leave so my husband could take her to the ER.

- please say a quick prayer for Megan (my sick little girl) -

Thank you ~ Marian

Marian...you don't own anyone an apology...when your children need you, they take priority over everything...ESPECIALLY if they are at the ER! I'm sorry that others aren't more sensitive. I hope everyone is feeling better very soon! Thanks for sharing your card with us....loved the pictures and instructions.

Wowzers girlies... what a whirl wind day! I'm finally home... only 3 1/2 hours, we made good time.

I hustled and got all but 3 cards done... I only need to color and then put them together.

Marian... I'm sorry about your little girls being sick... I didn't know that is why you had to leave so suddenly... take care and I am saying prayers for you right now.

Just got home and I think I might sleep tonight. Had a great time. There were a few cards I didn't get finished, but that will give me something to try to figure out tomorrow.

Marian, sorry to hear you have a sick little girl. I am sure there were many who had no idea you had a sick child and had to leave. I know the ladies would understand that. Hopefully the antibiotics will have her feeling better by morning and that her sister doesn't catch it.

Thanks again Tracy, Randi and Autumn for all that you did to make an awesome day of stamping for everyone.

Default wow!

I feel like I have a hang over. The day was so fantastic. Randi, Tracy and Autumn, you did so much work and the event was like nothing I have ever experienced before. What a fun, fun day of doing great cards and meeting new people. Carla, the games were great! I wish I had practiced more. I am still amazed at the mind blowing amount and quality of prizes. Nice work!

It did take every bit of all day to get the cards done, but it was worth it. Wish we could have stayed till the very end too, but a little person needed to be fetched (albeit not from the ER) too. If anyone is still missing my card, let me know I will make it and send it out to you. I have about 8 left over. My card was #27 on the list.

Thanks again girls! You have no idea how much I appreciate all that you did. I hope you are resting and sleeping well today.

Thank you all ladies for a wonderful day. You guys were troopers with all of the cards that had to be made.

Marian, I am so sorry that your little girl is so sick. I know that it is hard when your little ones are sick. Praying for your family to get better.

Connie - I agree with you! Anyone that missed making my card (the pink and brown Petal Prints, easy schmeasy card) please PM me and I will make it and send it to you.

Thanks to all you you who helped clean up. I know some of you had to run quickly to get home but we do appreciate those that stayed to sweep and move tables and stuff.

I tell you what, some of the white elephant gifts that I saw were pretty amazing. I will have to take pictures of what I got and what Autumn got and post them so you all can oohh and aahh. I guess someone needs to start a gallery for this event. Don't know how to do that, sorry.

Hi Marian,
I hope both of your daughters are better today. I wasn't near you when you had to leave so didn't know you even left, but you certainly had a good reason. About half of the women left early and no one knew until they were almost ready to leave, so don't feel bad. Everyone was rushing to see their cards and try to get them done.

Connie, I'm one of them that didn't get your card done. That's so sweet of you to offer to make them and send thewm out. You can e-mail me at: [email protected] for my address. Thanks in advance, I appreciate it.

Randi, I didn't get to your card either. I'll do the same thing if anyone didn't get mine done. It's number 12. randi, I'm writing out my thanks to you and the others in a separate note.

Many thanks to Randi, Tracy, and Autumn for the many hours of work and thought you put into this event. And to Carla for the work you did as well, in organizing the games. What fun they were.

You all deserve praise. I don't know how to put this in a larger font and a different color to make it more impressive, but the thought and thanks are huge for all of you.

I'm so glad I finally got to meet all of you, and many of the others. It was sure a day packed to the brim with things going on. You provided two very good meals too.

I'm sorry I didn't get to meet many of you that I didn't happen to sit beside at some point.

My mind was whirling all day, trying to get cards done. I only got 25 done. I was hoping to spend a little more time visiting and getting to know all of you, and checking out the yard sale items, but making the cards took all day. I didn't take time to take pictures of the cards in the hall, or of anyone, until we were cleaning up and most of you were gone. I regret not getting a group photo, but since many of you left so early I didn't get time to set up my camera.

Marian, I forgot to tell you in my reply to you that your girls are also in my prayers. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. You must have been a wreck, getting that call. I certainly would have been.

It was great seeing so many beautiful cards, but personally, for me it was overwhelming, trying to get them all done. The day was so thoughtfully planned, I only wish I worked at a faster speed. I wanted to take time to stamp off the stamps Carla was nice enough to bring for me. I only spent a few minutes on that, but Carla, thank you so much for bringing them. I really appreciate it!

A big thanks to Laura and Kim for bringing the embossing folders. Now I can't wait to get some of my own so I can play with my Cuttlebug.

I'm with the others offering, if anyone didn't get my card made, I'll be happy to make it and send it to you. It was #12.

Again, thanks so much Tracy, Randi, Autumn and Carla for giving us such a great day together. It'll be like reliving it to read everyone's comments on it.

Last year when I posted pictures or cards and put St. Louis Stampede in the title, the SCS GURU made the gallery.
