Sisterhood of the LOSTies - Final Ballsapalooza Vote
Hi LOSTies,
I got an e-mail tonight from the lady at Lone Star. It turns out the woman who had a hold on the two weekends we were looking at chose a weekend in August instead. So, we now need to vote on which weekend we prefer. She said she would put holds on both dates through the weekend and I have to let her know by the end of the day on Monday which one we'd like.
So, please choose which weekend you prefer and the one with the most votes by 7 PM EST will be the weekend that we go.
Also, I'd like to ask that we use this thread for our gathering chatter for the time being. That way everyone who is interested in going won't miss out on anything among all the chatter on the regular thread and those who are not going won't be bogged down with chatter about a trip they can't go on.
Thanks!

I know that neither of these dates works for everyone and I hate that. I don't like choosing a date that rules out any of my friends from going. But, for my own selfish reasons, I went with the July 23 weekend since I already got that time off approved when we thought we were going to Hager House and it's kind of a pain to change it with all the permission channels I have to go through. But, I will be there whichever date wins!

I hope that this doesn't cause hard feelings, but I'm not going to vote. Both of these weekends will work for me. The first weekend is the Lineman's Rodeo, & I usually only go to that on Friday night. Darren is fine with me missing it. I can ask my MIL to watch Allyson that night and Darren and Travis can have a boys' night out.

That's totally fine Melissa! I know there are plenty of people that have a preference one way or another, so if you don't care, no need to vote! I'm just so excited to see you again!

I voted the 23-26 because Mike just got done going through the vacation request process at work and got his shifts off during that time. They schedule for the year in February to guarantee those certain days.
IF the dates change I can deal with that and should be able to adjust accordingly.
Thanks again Jess for all the hard work!!

I voted for the last weekend. I can possibly make the other but Brian has a huge 2 day golf outing and it would be very hard to do...so I went with what was easier for me.

I'm with Melissa on this. Either weekend will work for me if I get to go, so I'm not going to pick one over the other either.

I have no preference! Whatever works for the majority works for me.

Well, it looks like July 23 - 26 it is! I'll let the Lone Star lady know and will send her the deposit this week.
I'm sorry Trace, I'm still so bummed that you can't make it. Maybe your mom would like to come and celebrate her birthday with us in TX?

No big deal. It's not like I really expected to be different.

Tracy, I'm hoping that something will change and you'll be able to come. I was looking forward to seeing all the Westie LOSTies again this year.

well y'all - please keep me in the loop as I sincerely would like to come. However, Matthew will be deploying to Iraq around that time and Kimberly will be home for a break from China - so I do not know if I will be able to. Maybe I can just drive down for a day to say Hi....we'll see!
