Ok, so I am sooooo behind, just started today!:oops: But, very irritated because the ink will not dry on the white anymore and smudges no matter how long I let them "dry", love the vibrant new ink pads from SU but they do not dry on the whisper white!!!! Any ideas??????

lindylou1220 05-13-2013 06:34 AM

Sorry to hear about your cousin, Beth. That's a tough cancer, not that they all aren't.

lindylou1220 05-13-2013 06:35 AM

Did you try heat setting, Amy? I haven't heard of any but black really being a problem on the white CS.

Beth - I am sorry to hear about your cousin. My aunt's (and Judy K's mother-in-law) funeral is Wednesday. That means I'll be out of town a total of 3 days this week (work too!) so boy, am I glad I have all my stuff completed!

Quilling_Queen 05-13-2013 09:21 AM

I finished my NVR today, my shoebox is almost done - just need to type up the instruction sheet.... Just need to do my Recipe cards now...

Love2Craft 05-13-2013 09:28 AM

I am taking Wednesday off so I can get a lot done. I will have the house all by myself so there will be no interuptions. I am half way done.

arlenevita 05-13-2013 09:32 AM

So sorry, Beth, Judy, and Karen, to hear of your losses!

arlenevita 05-13-2013 09:36 AM

Anyone else having computer virus issues? DH swears that since it's on my computer the current one ("failed to start MSCTF.dll" keeps popping up) comes from some crafting site that I've visited.

I have had mine in the repair shop just about ever other month, it seems if I pull up a new craft site I get a virus, and I have protection so what do I do, never look at anything new or pay to get it fixed after I do?????? sounds like you are having the same problem

lindylou1220 05-13-2013 10:35 AM

No problems here, but I'm using a Mac. (Knock on wood.)

Sorry to hear about your aunt/Judy's MIL, Karen.

arlenevita 05-13-2013 11:27 AM

Today has been a bust! First I had to take Zekey to the vet's this morning (see her photo on FB...so cute!) for an antibiotic shot because she has another infection...third time in the past few months....and then DH has been trying all day to get the virus off my work computer so I cannot do any work (I know, boo HOO, too bad I couldn't have stayed home to continue decluttering!). I need to write checks and my computer is the only one that has that program. Good thing I brought my iPad with me so I can at least check in here to see what's going on.

lindylou1220 05-13-2013 01:09 PM

Look at you quoting away, Gayla. I remember when you couldn't do that.

snowcountry311 05-13-2013 01:11 PM

Cool, right

Judy K 05-13-2013 01:41 PM

Like Karen, I'm SO glad I have everything finished except for baking. I started packing up stuff yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised that I had even written up my SB directions earlier. :D

snowcountry311 05-13-2013 01:57 PM

Love2Craft 05-14-2013 05:58 AM

Almost done with NVR. Basically just needs to be glued. Best part is I am not feeling stressed. At least not until something goes wrong. Hoping nothing does.

Our roof? Variegated brown/black shingles to match the garage roof. The original roof on the house was brown shingles. Elvis said the plywood was in good shape so he didn't have to replace any of that. They put some type of rolled on material on the porch roof because that is almost flat. Tomorrow the guys have to totally rebuild the smoke house roof (over 125 years old) and put slate shingles on it. Then we have to paint the smoke house door to fulfill the insurance company's other requirement so we can keep our house insurance. DH says he wants to replace a few of the door's bottom boards before we paint it. All this in the next few weeks so we can schedule the insurance inspector to come before June 27.

So sorry for your loss, Beth. My brother was only 30 when he died with colon cancer. A rough cancer indeed.
