The hotel stay is separate. There's a special rate for the crop--IIRC, it was about $94/night at the last crop, including taxes--and the rooms are very nice! All meals are included, except Saturday lunch. The breakfast buffet was so substantial I didn't even *miss* the lunch last time.
There's a caf-type setting right outside the crop room, so if you want something to eat, you don't have to go far. The food was very good--best bacon I've had in years and years. lol
There are lots of prize drawings throughout the weekend. The vendors are excellent, if you want to do some shopping, or forgot to bring something with you. And there are classes, if you're into that sort of thing. (Fees are paid to the instructor.) You can schedule a massage (separate fee), and there will be spa services at the April crop, again if you're into that sort of thing. At the January/February crop, there was a swap table--you could drop off things you don't want/need anymore, and pick up something that caught your eye if you wanted at no cost. Leftovers were donated to a group in Haiti that's encouraging women to express themselves through scrapbooking. There was also a table for people who wanted to sell things they no longer needed.
Let me know if you have any other questions! Again, I'm not affiliated at all...just a very satisfied cropper!
