CLOSED Carolina Girls #5 Spring Fling April 26th, 2008
APRIL 26th is the NEW date for our Carolina Girls #5 Shoebox Swap. From 9:30 - 2:30 at Copier Sales and Service, Inc., 8610 Farrow Road, Columbia SC - We will have Name Tag Contest - Bring a Door Prize to be part of the drawing for Door Prize. Bring wonderful food to help keep our strength during this great time of stamping. Also, if you bring some killer food item please bring the recipe. Last day to sign up is the 19th of April. The final number will be posted on Monday the 21th of April. Thanks Amy

Hey, everyone! It's been a Sunday! Church, lunch, ran some quick errands that ended up taking 2 1/2 hours because I keep seeing people I know. Then home for 1/2 hour and up to the church for a worship committee meeting. I'm now home for the night. Working on laundrey and trying to decide what game we're playing for family game night. I'm thinking Pit or Outburst, but the family wants to play Risk. I'm too tired to play Risk!

I was up your way this weekend. I had to come to Charleston for a face to face meeting of my last graduate class for my add on certification. I stayed with mom (Big Lucy, for you other guys!). Michelle has done wonders with her craft room! You won't believe it!!

It must be there year of 'clean-up'! I'm moving my stamping and sewing downstairs and the kids to the room-over. I will be cleaning out A LOT of stuff! Some non-used! Maybe I'll put together a 'goody bag' for a door prize!

Woo hoo!!! Just remember girls...for all of you who throw out your scraps...I absolutely adore them so if you wanna just throw them in a bag or a box as you go along, I will definitely take them and recycle. Let's let this be the year to go GREEN! (And donate to me, of course! lol)
Cool Laura Goody Bags would be really a neat idea. I will remember that as I am cleaning out and rearranging. I have to make room for my step daughter who is on medical leave from the college of charleston....
I am NOT ruthless!! BUT I don't let people go through the trash after I'm finished!! I'm thinking this could be a new line of work! I had a really good time doing that room!!
I don't know Michelle, ruthless seems pretty mild compared to what Big Lucy said! :-) (The room looks great! Now if she would only STAMP something!)

I couldn't keep her OR Pat out of the trash!!! Big Lucy doesn't always tell the whole truth though!! She still has stuff in that room--if I were RUTHLESS there wouldn't be ANY extra stuff in there!! I thought I was extremely nice to let her keep what I did!!!
I think it takes ruthless to let go of some stuff. I never realized how much of a packrat I really am. My stamp room is going to be clean and organized one day.....just not sure it will be this life time...cause I just love my stuff.. Speaking of stuff have any of you ever used any of the lockhart co. stamps...I order some of the veggie colture, they are so cute...

Put me down for this one. This will be the first that I have been able to make. I am coming from Beaufort so I think I will spend the night. Can someone tell me a good hotel to stay at for the night. Put me down for shoebox swap and a dessert also. I am not sure what I am going to bring though. Thanks!
