CLOSED *3rd Annual HPC - North Carolina
The dates for this years HPC are: July 16-18, 2010.
*All out of town attendees should have recieved their info packets on hotel accommodations, etc. If you are flying in, I should also have your flight information by now. For those of you who are flying in, the airport you'd be coming into is Raleigh Durham Airport (RDU).
*The cost of the SBS is $30.00 (any leftover funds will be refunded, but this covers the room fees, food, etc. so there may not be any leftover.)
* The Luau is being planned for Friday night at 7:30 pm. All of you who are flying in should be in town at this time. We hope you will come and enjoy our Southern HOspitality! If the weather is inclement (and it is expected to be), we will have to do our best Don HO impressions inside. The Pole Dancing might be tricky though! ;)
*If you wish to swap images - bring whatever stamps you wish to share, cardstock, and your favorite ink(s). PLEASE MARK ALL OF YOUR BELONGINGS to be sure they are returned to you!
* The Shoebox Swap postion of the HPC is on Saturday from 10am-9pm. For those attendees who are confirmed and registered to come, you should all have the info on where and what to do. If not, PLEASE PM ME (urscrappymama), Lisa (wildbasket), or Donna (imthenoni) for the info. Please DO NOT ask for this info on the thread, because it may be missed and you may not receive the info in time to attend.

Alternately, please feel free to send extra kits to any HO that you wish in the spirit of being a real BETTA SHOE and HOT PANT WEARIN' Corner HO!

I'm definitely gonna try and make it! What vacation spots are close? - Will probably need to schedule some sort of vacation trip around it so DH lets me go!!

OMGosh! Is it going to be in NC???!!! I lived in Jacksonville, NC many years ago. Loved going to Onslow Beach and the rocking chair theater! I lived in base housing at the time and worked at the United telephone company. I loved North Carolina; everyone was so dang friendly!
Okay, doesn't take much to get me carried away! I don't even know if this event is in NC!!! (only guessing since Wildbasket's location is NC!) |

Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach 2 hours, USS NC battleship, and of course the beach.
Outer Banks and Kitty Hawk 4-5 hours
Asheville & Biltmore House 3-4 hours also the Blue Ridge Mountains & Appalacian Trial
You can detour thru DC or Williamsburg on the way down or back. __________________
