sounds yummy sandye, but I don't know about cleaning a chicken, ugh, what do you have to clean? (you can tell I have no clue about cooking). Glad you liked the ham I'm really liking my crock pot and cooking, surprisingly.
I'll let you know about papertrey, I have like 5 sets I want, but I will only be getting one, just have to choose which one, lol!

Joy use soft scrub it works really well on chicken and if you get the lemon scented kind you make lemon chicken!

Some people will wash a chicken by taking a half of a lemon, sprinkling it with salt and using it to scrub the chicken. Even my grandma does it that way. It's supposed to kill off any surface germs and yucky stuff.
(Maybe that's what what Sandye means too?)

Sandye/sgc
Keep those easy crockpot recipes coming. That leaves more time for stamping!
I will be placing a Papertrey order on the 15th. Anyone want me to deliver to CHA? I will get free shipping. Let me know.
|
I did actually wind up making that after HPC Sandye, it was yum-o!
I sent my meatball recipe around NYE, not sure how many pages you need to go back for that. They're super easy in the crock!!

ya think?! Tammy we can't thank you enough for all the hard 'behind-the-scenes' computer stuff you are doing too! Thank goodness Jodie put 'Help Desk Ho' in charge of us!
Annabella is currently coloring in one of the images that didn't print out properly for me. She added a "bag from ACMoore, a 'cellphone', and a coffee from Starbucks" to her Stella! She says she is drawing ME!

Yes! We concur - PLEASE DON'T Mama!
BTW...For those who are attending the HPC... Does anyone have any allergies/dislikes as to foods? We may be ordering pizza for lunch on the day of the SBS to keep the costs down. I will be working some 'Ho Magic' to see if I can get at least some of the meals discounted or free for the rest of the time you are here!
I promise Jackie...I WILL remember to not use any nuts this time! I think someone else didn't like tomatoes (raw) or mushrooms...?

Ok, has anyone done wedding invites before? My mom's co-worker asked me to make both formal (ceremony) and informal (reception only) invites for her June wedding, and I'm not sure where to start. her colors are pink & chocolate brown - her only request was colors and *simple but elegant* I'm thinking of doing one of those invites with the pocket on the inside for the reply card (see P 49 of current SU Catty).

OK I was gonna ask her about possible getting MORE of that satiny ribbon she has. I first have to find out HOW MANY invites she needs. About 200 are being invited to the wedding, so I am thinking 125-15o invites with couples?

I don't know...better make extra! Brides are notorious for adding extra 'add-on guests' at the last minute. It would be terrible to not have enough...unless you charge a premium price if they need extras after you start working on the order.
Better ask Michele though! She'd know better than I would!

if 200 people are being invited make 120-125 invitations.

I'm making "samples first". And she will HAVE to tell me a good # that will cover her because I have to order supplies by 1/31 (if I am doing SU! - I'm in pending right now)

OK! I was thinking 125 for 200 - but wasn't sure. I'm going to figure cost for 130.
