Thanks for the bump Amy! I figure everyone is too involved with Convention stuff...to notice this poll.
I guess they won't be able to complain about the date that gets chosen then...
Seriously, I will make an "exective decision" if I have to.....

Hey, I'm hijacking the thread! I just wanted to say hi. I grew up in Lebanon, lived a couple of years in Shelbyville, then many years in Brownsburg. Worked and went to church in Indy. I moved away 8 years ago, and I still miss Indy, Turkey Run State Park, Brown County, Nashville, friends, etc. etc. etc.

Other things I miss: Eagle Creek Park, and the COLTS!!

I'm not voting because it is too far ahead for me to really say, but I will be watching for the result to put on my calendar. I've only been visiting SCS for about 6 months now, so this is new to me. What types of things do you do and where did you meet last year?
CraftyMom...this will be a shoebox swap, where each participant will bring a project, with all the supplies prepped for everyone to make one of that project. It is a blast! Everyone goes home with so many projects and so many cool ideas!
More info will be sent out as Fall approaches, but right now I am trying to get a feel for what Saturday will work for most. I'm also trying to factor in a cruise somewhere in there for DH and I :-D
I figure alot of stampers are worrying about the SU! convention that is coming up in July, so I'm not pushing things too much right now.
Thanks for bumping the poll back to the top!

Oooo, Puggins, lets make this a STAMPING, SHOEBOX CRUISE! Just let us all know when we are leaving, and I'll be there! LOL! Cruises are tons of fun, and if you are nice to the cafeteria personelle, they will let you commandeer one of the tables in the buffet area and stamp all day. Just be ready to give away a few cards to the crew. If they walk determinedly over to your table, just smile as sweetly as you can, and when they ask what you are doing, tell them, "just making some great cards!" Then grab a stack, shove it into their hands and say, "Pick one out for yourself... any one you like!!" Works like a charm! Helps if you make a bunch of ship-related cards ahead of time to have in that stack! I've stamped a few cruises away with a girlfriend of mine. Sometimes, you'll even be joined by other crafty passengers! Be ready to share!
Well, if we can't join you on your cruise, then just let us know when we can come to the swap!

So am I to assume that this is probably held in Indy? Just curious.
Yes. Last year we had it just south of Indianapolis. I'm not 100% sure, but it seems like Kathy lives in Indianapolis. Kathy please correct me if I'm wrong.
I attended a stamp camp at a country club on the south side of Indy. Is this the same one. It was lots of fun and I would be interested in attending again. I do remember it was not limited to SU demonstrators but to SCS maniacs!
Hope it is not too late for me to register to come and load my car with other stampers from my area.

Hi Colleen...yes this is the same group! You are not too late, since this is in the very infant stages of planning. This Gathering will be for SCS'ers...not just demos...and will probably cap out at 50 attendees...so keep your ears open for more info. Please spread the word.
I live on the southside of Indy, but don't know just yet where/when we will have this Gathering. I probably won't be pushing the poll until after the end of July, since alot of last year's attendees are SU! demos and they(meaning me )are busy with swaps, etc.
DH and I are crusing to the Southern Caribbean the week of Sept 23rd, so as long as I can get a feel for what day will work for most by early August, then I can settle on a place and finalize costs, etc.
So I am chillin' for a few more weeks, before the stress begins :-D Right Amy?

Hee-hee!!! You don't even know!! LOL! You know I will be here to help you along the way. Just keep everything in word documents so you can keep editing them. I kept printing stuff. Don't make my mistake!! It truly isn't that bad... unless you have it catered. I suggest pizzas & 2-liters!!
Oh, please, please don't make this too stressful. I want to come and STAMP, and talk to other stampers!. We can have hotdogs and chips for all I care. Sandwiches, apples, and soda.... Pizza and 2-liters works! Keep it simple! All I really NEED is great lighting and space for my table-creep illness, lol!

I voted for the 20th but any of the dates would be fine except the 13th I have a feeling I will be hung over that day seeing as how it is the day after my 21st birthday.
I vote for pizza and bring your own drink. Of course, I would bring some chocolate to share. What's a stamping get together without chocolate? A real downer!
I didn't vote - any day is ok with me! Just wanted to let you know I am definitely interested. And I totally agree with Dawna (hi to you!) and others - simple is better re: food. Pizza is an easy choice - everyone brings their own drinks...
OOOH, oooh, oooh! I'm sitting with Patti!!! How on earth did we get this far without anyone bringing up the CHOCOLATE??? That's just a stamping essential!

Of course chocolate! But then again, I am going to have to do a major research study to find the best chocolate that "melts in your mouth, not in your hand" or bring lots of choc chip paper to stamp on!
I will keep checking the thread, if the date works, I will try to make it. I have just set all my classes thru December, will need to see what response I get to them!
HA HA HA!!!! Hi Chrissy!!!
How have you been!!
I will be traveling back up there with my Jeep & GPS!!!
Maybe If I start early.. I will be there on time!!!
