I posted this message on the Events side of the forums but thought I would post here as well. Ann Hill and I are hosting a Central Illinois Shoebox Swap November 17th. Here is the information:
Central Illinois Holiday Shoebox Swap
The time is finally here!
Central Illinois Holiday Shoebox Swap will be
Saturday, November 17th from 8:00 a.m. ~ 3:00 p.m.
(check in at 8:00—starts at 8:30 a.m.)
at Eastland Suites Hotel & Conference Center

Breakfast and Lunch are included in the registration. There will be door prizes throughout the day and a GRAND PRIZE later in the day.
The swap will be $35 per person.
We will electronically send out your confirmation when we receive your registration, and we will include directions to Eastland Suites. We will need to limit the number of participants to 30, so please send your registration in as soon as possible. Please use a holiday theme in designing your project (i.e. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter etc.). We want to make sure everyone gets a chance to make every swap card, so please try to limit your project to 10 minutes for others to make. If your project requires a special tool (i.e. embossing gun, Crop-i-dile, watercolor pen etc.) please supply this. We will try to have enough outlets available. Thank you!
Please bring the following:
**Enough supplies (including embellishments, tools, etc.) for everyone to make your Shoebox Swap. Please have the materials already cut, scored and ready to assemble. Each card should be in its own plastic bag and include precut ribbon and eyelets already sorted out etc. We will make FULL CARDS.
**One full card to donate to Ronald McDonald house charities for the children or families to use.
**Your own adhesive, cutting tools, stamp ‘n’ scrub (or similar). Please put your name on all your items.
