Announcing the 2nd TEXAS SCS GATHERING!
2nd TEXAS SCS GATHERING
Arlington was a blast, but it was so long ago, who is ready to do it again?
Details:
Date: April 8th, 2006
Time: 9:30 am to 9:00 pm (including clean up time)
Place: Steiner Ranch Community Center
12550 Country Trails Lane
Austin, TX 78732 (Don't mail payment here)
Cost: $15 (includes: Lunch, Dinner, Beverages and Room Rental)
Hosts: Rebecca (rshores) and Brenda (sassybee)
We are both available to answer your questions, so feel free to pm us anytime.
What are we going to do all day?
A HUGE Shoe Box Swap, eat and have fun! Everyone who comes should plan to participate in this! Bring a shoebox with all the supplies for 45 people to make your card or craft.
How do I sign up?
Any SCS member can come. All you have to do is post on this thread that you want on “the list”. We have a maximum of 45 spots available---first come, first serve!
There is a registration form attached to this post, please fill it out and mail it along with your $15.00 by 03/15/06 to:

WAITING LIST
Please read this about the waiting list.
The waiting list is to let people know who is interested in your spot should you need to cancel. The hosts are not responsible for lining up any replacements and will not issue refunds, sorry to be so hardnosed but we have a ton of other details to attend to. Your replacement will be responsible for reimbursing you the $15 you paid. The waiting list is here to help you find a replacement, you are not required to start at the top of the list, but it would be nice.

I know I am not going, and I hope I'm not steppin on any toes here, but I have one suggestion: I would bump the lunch up to 1hr instead of 1/2hr. The last person in line only has like 2minutes to eat. I know that.....cuz it was me in Arlington 
Again...sorry for any crunches tosies! |

Good idea Shanon, I will change that on the final schedule.
I was sure to schedule some make up times because I know I am slow and will need that time to finish up some of the cards.
We are open to ideas and suggestions if anybody has any other ones.

Sorry, I won't be able to makethis one. Ya'll have a great time!!!! Be sure & take time to meet everyone. I am so sad that I didn't get to meet so many of the women that went to the N Texas one. Try to have some type of break besides lunch for people to mingle a bit. Another suggestion I have is find out what type of card they are doing that way you don't have like 3 hard cards (such as lots of detail, spinners, shakers, anything time consuming) at the same table. It was really hard to finish & not everyone was able to go back. KWIM? Overall, I suggest to have fun! That's what it is all about!
