Cost: $30 (Check or Money Order), $31(Paypal) – Breakfast, Lunch and Bottled Water will be provided.
This will be a huge Shoebox Swap where we can create and have fun! Everyone who comes should plan to participate. There will be 30 stations, so please bring your shoebox filled with the supplies needed for each participant plus two (2) samples; one for your station and one for the display board. At the end of the swap, the sample cards will be donated to Lighthouse Hospice.
Shoebox Swap - $30pp
Includes light breakfast, lunch, iced tea, and bottled water.
How do I Register?
Any SCS member can come. All you need to do is post on this thread that you want a spot. There is a maximum of 30 spots available – so It’s First Come, First Served! If warranted, I will start a waiting list for those who want to get those spots vacated for various reasons.
*** This event will be PEANUT-FREE! One of our regular swappers is deathly allergic to peanuts, so please make sure that you do not bring any snacks that contain peanuts. ***

I just updated the attendee list for the Austin Area Shoebox Swap. I'm so glad it's filling up. I just realized that I forgot to attach the registration form. I'll try to get that added this afternoon.

I understand and will take your name off the list. Hope to see you at the next one. I think Brenda (SassyBee) is planning another shoebox swap at Lone Star in October.
All the best as you take your dd off to college. That will be a bittersweet weekend for both of you I'm sure.
Found the site and really want to go to the shoebox. Let me know if I need to pay a deposit. I still need to send you the deposit for the following weeks retreat. Can't wait I heard this is alot of fun. Oh and let me know what theme to make my cards. I'm thinking of using the cricut so we'll see how it turns out. I can email the card sample once I finish it. Probably closer to August. I'll keep in touch. Oh and I haven't had time but I DO plan to make my own facebook page. Okay take care and happy Memorial Day!.

I noticed that two more ladies had to cancel today. We are now down to 16 participants and half of those have not submitted registration forms or payment.
Should we move forward and have the swap with only half as many as originally planned or should I refund everyone's money and try to reschedule for a more convenient day?
