Good news is, he said yes...bad news is...he has NO clue when the 8 o'clock party is leaving, so we may have to wait for them to clean the room....
Also.....food is $6.79 +tax NOT including drinks...soda is $1.49
I told him we were all bringing a few extra $1 for tip...and that I would make sure it was at least 20% or I would make up the difference...so please don't forget that, k?
Oh...that could have been bad. Great that we have the whole room. At the Utah shoebox we have the smaller 1/2 side and it was elbow to elbow...and umm... warm. We had to pass the projects from table to table. And unfortunately we didn't get finished.
I don't mind waiting a few minutes to get started...we can chat and get to know each other in the waiting area or outside. We'll still be together.
See you all SOON!!!

It was a blast! Thanks to everyone for the great projects. Let's do it again after Christmas! I really enjoyed meeting everybody and learning new techniques.
I think the only thing that would have helped me go faster is to have instructions for the projects. I'm not very good at just figuring things out by looking at them!

Speaking of Lost stuff: I found 3 finished projects (it was the M&M Bag Topper, The Gum box, the Sunflower and Pumpkin Card,) a pair of scissors and a stamp case with scissors, the Pumpkin Patch Card and adhesives sitting on a table...

Rachel,
Do one of the pairs of scissors have blue/black handles? I left mine and the last place I was at was the pumpkin patch card table. Let me know.
Thanks so much for putting this together, it was a blast and I can't wait for the next one!!
My card was the "GiveThanks" sunflower with the microbeads in the middle of the flower.
It was fun meeting all you girls today! And the projects were great!

Thank You so much for all the great projects. And Thank You to Rachel for setting up the Shoebox Swap. I had such a great time. You are all so talented and the projects were great. I also learned a great deal. And all those finished projects that were just freebies. Wow that was a bonus. Thank You to you all for such a great job. See you at the next one. My card was the Eat Cake card. It is a fun card but a little tricky. Going to use it again for my Card Blitz on Monday. ENJOY.
Hi girls...just wanted to say THANK YOU for all the fantastic goodies we got to make, I had alot of fun putting them together, and it was nice hanging out with you all.
And thanks to Rachel, Sharon and Carla for the extra candy bags, love them!
Amy wasn't it you that brought the paper to cover the tables? It worked perfectly, thanks so much!
Kendra, you left your water spritzer, I have it. I'm going to Sharon's on Tuesday and I'll leave it with her, so you can pick it up whenever.
Rach thanks for another great get-together, looking forward to the next one! Should I be thinking Valentines/Easter/Spring? ;)
I agree! Terrific projects, everybody! And another very well-executed event by Rachel! We're so lucky she does this for us!
My project was the card in More Mustard and Black with a horizontal strip of vertical stripes and Lovely Leaves as the main image. The sample used a Purple Onion Designs stamp that said "autumn", but there were other sentiments available in the box.
Mine was the Country Blessings card. Thanks for setting this up Rachel!!! It's so fun to know that there are other stamping freaks here in Idaho!

My project had instructions (2 designs for nugget boxes) I assumed everyone knew how to make nugget boxes (my fault) I thought we were gonna demonstrate our projects too... Everyone just kinda sat down and went at it.... My first SCS swap get together.. LIVE AND LEARN... It was a lot of fun though..
