After you have 4 kids, Paula, it really doesn't get any worse with the rest. LOL

Take care of yourself--2 kids is a tremendous adjustment, and yours has extra issues.

Kathy--congratulations on your new camera! and your old one working!

Had stamp club tonite. It went pretty well, and everyone had a great time. I used a card I cased from Angie, and I hope to have it up on my blog tomorrow!

Hello to all!
This is going to be a day full of so much that I really don't know how we are going to get it all done. We leave for TN tomorrow for my in-laws' 50th celebration. I have my list and will keep checking things off. Guess I won't be back to the computer (or at least I shouldn't!!!!).

My order from my hostess club gets here today - but the Big Shots won't be here until Friday. Waaaah! Just have to wait until we get home next week to play with it.

On the good side, it's supposed to be 70 degrees and sunny here. Beautiful! It will be in the low 40's all week in TN. BRRRRRRR!

Here's hoping everyone has a great day!

Ellie, (it's okay, I'm back on the computer while I'm eating breakfast LOL)

Here's a suggestion for your camera. Most cameras have a 'reset to factory default' or something like that in their menu.

If you know how to access the menu or settings on your camera, look for that setting. I had to do that to a camera once and it really fixed the problem I was having.

Sending you cyber-sunshine!!!! Warm hugs!

Breakfast is done, I'm off to do Laundry, my first and most needful chore today.

I hate computers!
Spent the morning trying to get my scanner to work. Ugh. Finally tossed in the towel, redownloaded all the drivers and software and now it's working! Yeah! Should have just done that in the first place. Sigh...I never remember that until I've spent an hour or so tinkering....

Kathy- Congrats on the new camera!! And that is cool that the old one is now fixed too.

Ellie- Also check the lens and make sure there isn't a big finger print or something on it. I know I've had that problem before after my DS has had his little paws on it.

I moved club to next week (thank goodness that works better for most of the members anyway.) That takes a little pressure off this week. Still have to get the projects prepped though. I think I am going to do those cute gift tags that Amy had on her blog, a gift holder and an ornament. I originally planned to do a chipboard snowflake ornament but now I am thinking about doing the reinker/glitter in a clear glass ornament instead. This is our last meeting so I'd like to do something a little bit special.

Hi Ladies! Gosh I haven't been here for days!

I need some help!! I have to place an order today from my class last weekend. I have two customer orders and I was going to place an order for things I need to make some christmas gifts. One of those was the book mark from convention (not the scalloped one we made, but the hodge podge one Brent ?? made). Well I realized I cannot place the bulk order for the vanilla hodgepodge on a workshop order. So, what do I do? I dont' think I can just add my customer orders to my demo order, can I?

I only need 12 of them, does anyone have 12 that they would be willing to sell to me? I could send you a check or paypal it. I don't need them until early December. (I hope I don't get in trouble for posting this here)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

We leave early Friday for vacation and, as always, I am in a mad rush to get work caught up, and the house in order! I probably won't be able to catch up with you all until we get home, AFTER Thanksgiving. So everyone have a safe and happy holiday! (But I will keep watch for anyone that may have advice for me on my issue above)

Oh, and since we can't "sell" current product, maybe we could work something else out. That way you don't get in trouble.

Crissy,
I have extra HP frames too if you need more than what Jen has.

Paula,
Glad you could move your club meeting. Hurrah on getting the announcements done too. One day at a time.

Kathy,
Isn't it so cool to have someone around who likes to tinker! I just got a new camera too - I think it is the model before yours SX100 vs the 110. I got a ubber deal on it so I sacrificed the one megapixel for the deal (mine is an 8 vs the 9). Love it! It is my 3rd cannon.

Hellos to everyone else, Ellie, Jen etc.

I HAVE to get ready for this retreat today - leaving tomorrow and my room is a disaster area. We watched Kung Fu Panda last night instead of anything productive.

I'm the same way Amy...I can't imagine it, but I bet after Christmas we'll get bored and want to swap, swap, swap. Yep, I am way too excited for Mission embossable...

Amy are you enabling again?! With swaps yet!

I saw that and think it is BS related. way cool to have a new coordinating set with embossing die and die. I am drooling already. LOL.

Rhonda - you just go girl! I have 7 days complete and 1 started and ideas for the "reveal". Yes Amy - a list counts - I agree that the ideas are more than half the battle.

Jen - hope you have a great evening!

I will probably pop in before packing the car tomorrow and don't know if I will get on at all until Sunday afternoon. I am so excited to go on the crop weekend. Got my 12 chocolate rules bars done last night too. I also have movies to bring for anyone who wishes to take a scrap break. Bringing P.S. I Love You, 27 Dresses, How to Lose A Guy In 10 Days, What Women Want, No Reservations and The Holiday.

Amy- I have my list and I bought something on Monday. So to me, it counts for sure.

I will be up for swapping in January. I would say either double the swaps in one package. OR, preview due around the 10th and SAB due around the 20th. Does this mean Amy is hosting?

It was her idea, I think she should! I am in for a 2 for 1 (preview and SAB) swap, I love it but the postage adds up fast!!

Oh, and I agree ideas for the Christmas elfette count as starting. Once I get a few more, things will flow and I'll be done before I turn around (I hope!)

Whew! Just checking in for a second here. That sneak peak really has me intrigued! Be interesting to see.

I'm in for another swap AFTER Christmas. I think I will be ready by then.

I got all of my To Do list done today except one project - I need to hem some large napkins to go in the bread baskets at the dinner. (I bribed and paid one DD to do two loads of laundry and hang them up for me!!!!)

Now I'm off to assemble and package my order that just came in. Have to go deliver a couple of them tonight. Then I'll be at the sewing machine until way too late!

I wanted to get more elfette gifts done today, too, but that didn't happen. We are coming home Monday, tho, and if I can get everyone to leave me ALONE for a day or two, they will be done. I have my 12 ideas in place and sketched and planned, etc.

Hugs,

I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is next week! Ack!! So much to do. We leave for NJ on Tues., I think. It's a 4 - 9 hour drive, depending on traffic. We usually stop at Red Robin in Hartford, CT, as our half-way mark for lunch. I cannot wait for their chicken sandwich with onion straws!!

Thanksgiving is at my house this year. But it is just my brother and his family and my SIL's newlywed sister and her DH. A few years ago, we had almost all of my family and all of my inlaws here for the holiday. So this year seems like nothing.

Both of the boys were up around 6:00 a.m. this morning. I sent Spencer back to bed after I gave him something to eat (he didn't eat much dinner so I am sure hunger was the main reason he woke up.)

My snowflake die is not working anymore! (Waaaah!) I guess that seals the deal. My hostess club will be making the clear glass glitter ornaments instead of a chipboard snowflake one.

Have a great day everyone!

I hope I don't hit too much traffic getting through NYC. I'm afraid to drive over big bridges, so I kind of get there in a round about way. I actually go through NYC! It usually only takes me 15 minutes longer - which is worth it to me instead of the hyper anxiety. And the boys like looking at the tall buildings. I usually zoom right down the West Side Highway. And the times I travel, I'm going through the tunnel around 2/3 in the afternoon, so not bad at all. Once the divorce stuff is all done, I'm going to work on getting rid of this phobia. One thing at a time.

Nope, staying closer to home in Waconia MN this time.

I sold my brand new never been out of the box bought just before convention cuttlebug last night to a gal who owns a retreat house in North Branch MN...will have to add that place to my list too.

Have fun this weekend!

Try living here where the bridge collapsed a year ago August. The new one is now up and open - a lot of people will not drive over it. We all have things that we work around in life.

Oh, yummy!

Last year we butchered our own home-grown organic turkeys. And by "we" I mean my dh, whose brilliant idea it was. LOL

This year we just went with one from the store.

Amy, I had to laugh when I read this. My grandparents had a poultry farm. I hated Thanksgiving time for all the butchering and plucking we kids had to help with. I only had to pluck feathers, but yuck. So much easier from the store. I even got an organically grown turkey this year. So no extra legs on this bird! lol
