Ellie sorry you are having such a long day. {hugs} I hope you can rest soon. And I hope you get a couple of great photos.

Okay - I found them. Whew! Now pricing some things I made for our church bazzar this Friday.

Amy - I got my project all prepped for Friday - I'm so excited! 2 finished and 20 kits plus instructions - so fun. It's a little envelope album like we did at convention only using the bulk buy frosty paper and Mr. Twigster. My class is prepped too. Guess I need to start on the calendar now..... Can we tell I'm stalling...

Aren't you just an attachment Goddess these days Stacy!

And yes, now I *have* to have that alphabet. Really trying to wait until Sale-A-Bration for any more big purchases though.

The class last night went pretty well. It was a new group to me and most of them know each other because they all do direct sales of one kind or another: Cookie Lee, Scentsy, etc. I can tell they do a lot of parties for each other and were talking about DS's I know nothing about. Did you know there is a Shoe one? And my neighbor started one a couple of years ago called Miche Bags and these are the first group of ladies I've met who all have one who don't know my neighbor. Funny. I think it's the first time I've met a group of real DS junkies. Didn't know such a thing existed.

But I made some money and got lots of compliments on my cards. One of the gal's is in Wendy Knowles' Hostess Club (she presented at Convention, I believe in the Demonstrator Theater?) and she told me she liked my cards so I took it as a really good sign. No sales, but I am expecting a $100 order from one of the hostesses this week and there was one other gal who took a catalog to look through.

Speaking of which, I am out of catalogs and I still have one more workshop to go. I hate to order 8 more catalogs this late in the game and be stuck with 4 or 5 of them. It's the only draw back to a shorter catalog sales period.

How many catalogs do you need, Paula? I could check and see how many extra I'm going to have. At least 2-3.

Totally cute, Stacy! Can't wait! Maybe you should design a project for me. <roll eyes> Haven't even started. I wanna use that same DSp! LOL

Yes, Lisa, I am enabling again. And I will be ordering that alpha as soon as my crazy hostess re-pays my Paypal acct for her $170 order. It left me just a bit short.

Paula--congrats on your class! Sounds like you did great!

Stacy - Those pictures are great! Looks like you guys had a great time. That instruction sheet is awesome, thanks for sharing!

Lisa - I feel your pain. The other day I was looking for my paper cutter, couldn't find it anywhere! I must have looked for 5 minutes, knowing it had to be there! Finally I remembered I had taken it to a crop and it was in one of my bags! So frustrating! Glad you found your stamps

Amy - I have that Patti Stamps blog in my favorites, she is very talented!

I was actually productive this evening. I started on my sister's Christmas gift. I tried the Baby Wipe technique for a card (thanks to you guys!). I kind of organized my stamp area, not great, but a start. I made a gift card holder for my friend and I updated my blog and set up scheduled posts for the next few days. And all this since 8 p.m. Crazy! Now I probably should go to bed.

Morning all. The time change is throwing us all for a loop. AJ woke up at 6 am and Spencer did a bit better and just woke up at 6:45. I just posted Halloween Pictures on my personal blog.

We have our first post-placement home visit this morning with our caseworker. So that means I need to clean the house. I also need to get to Costco because we are going through milk, bread and gas faster lately for some reason.

And my AJ starts Basketball class this evening. He loves basketball and his best friend is taking the class with him.

Hope you all have a great start to the week. I'm thinking of you all and saying extra prayers for those of you who need it. (And who doesn't!)

Good morning everyone!
Ditto everything Angie said. I got nothing stamping done this weekend. School is taking every spare moment. Thank heavens I only have 4 more weeks this semester!!! I'll have a little free time after Wednesday, so I'm going to totally ignore DH and get my swaps mailed to you and get ready for my class this month.
Have a great day!

I am a little frustrated that DS wouldn't help me. I got the nice little lecture about that's why they have the "verify" box, and so forth. No, really????

Sorry, I'm feeling rude about this. I know they can help, if they choose to. Guess I just wasn't in luck. I need Max. LOL

I have a phone appt with the lawyer at noon and then the mediation at 1. I talked to her this morning too. I think we have a plan. I just hope everything goes OK. I hope I don't cry. I am feeling anxious, but not quite as bad as yesterday. I'm doing some laundry and cleaning this a.m. to keep busy.

When I get home tonight I'll touch base with Chrissy and then we'll swap out the names and get them right out to you! I'd love to get some stamping done, but maybe will need to settle for cleaning my stamps! LOL!

Good morning all! Angie has got it all together this morning! Saying all the right things to everyone and wishing for a great week for all....I'm not worthy! What she said though!

Can't wait to get my Elfette this evening Jen! I just said a little prayer for strength for you too...hugs!

Maybe try again for a more sympathetic DS person Amy?

and you right?!

Jen, I hope you have a good day despite all that is going on. Rememer you are not in control and God has a plan for each and every one of us, whether or not we can see it or even appreciate it at the moment. {HUGS} I am praying for you and your boys.

Stacy - TFS! Super cute.

Missi - looking forward to the swap. I hope your studies give a break soon. My BFF is taking two classes right now, one online and I hardly get to even email with her she is so swamped with class work.

Paula - sounds like you are adjusting and from what I understand from friends who have adopted, you all are doing well! Praying for you all and will add one for your visit today. Glad Amy has a couple catalogs for you. I was out and ordered one and used hostess benies for another one so I would have a couple for my class on Saturday and hopefully can get by with that until the new catty. Also glad to hear your class went well. I cannot imagine them not liking your work! I have never heard of some of those DS companies either.

Amy - so sorry you were not able to correct your order. It's funny how sometimes they do and sometimes they do not...not very helpful to you this time.

Angie, Rhonda, Crissy - happy hellos your way too!

Happy November all!! I guess it is a busier month in the US than for us in Canada.

Paula: Yeah, for AJ. I am a basketball coach so I love basketball, well I love most sports.

Still waiting for my swaps...I am not a real patient person but I know about mailing across the border. My next class isn't until November 10th so I hope I get them this week.

Just got my flu shot yesterday. It was nice because this year I didn't have an allergic reaction as there is a peservative that I am allergic to so my sister made sure to get me the vaccine that didn't have it in it.

I went to Seattle area on Saturday. Our dollar isn't as strong as it had been for awhile. I did mostly grocery shopping. There are certain things we just can't get in Canada. So I need all the varieties of chex cereal to make chex mix. I love that you can get the 3 varieties in one box at Costco. I know for most of you its not that big of a deal but for me...very exciting.

Have a great day!

Crissy - that makes 10 of us! How fun will this be! Are we going to post our gifties after reveal?
Thanks to you and Jen for organizing this!

Erin - it is amazing what we all find as our shopping treasures. I know when I go to Ukraine in Feb I will be bringing peanut butter and chocolate chips for our interpreters, especially Oksana our in country staff.

Here is one of my biggest confessions.... I have had the top note die since August when I bought the whole Big Shot kit w/bag. And it is still in the plastic wrap. I have seen so many cute things done with it but I still haven't even taken it out of the plastic. I guess I should test it, like all the others that are still plastic wrapped. I feel so bad for all those ladies that have been waiting for their BO. I love SU! but I found that at this time in my life I am trully just very busy with my kids and since I really don't need to make money at this I am lucky enough to be able to relax a little with camps and workshops. I don't want to relax to much as my loyal customer base is dwindling and I don't want them to disapper all together.

See usually in the fall they have a regionals to go too...but there won't be one until the spring...yes, I need that kick. I loved doing all those swaps at convention time.

Okay Ellie, just for you. I opened it and thought do I really need the crease pad. I have the crease pad but did it without. I tested I could get 5 really nice perforated layers of cs from one cut. It is really nice. I just need to use it in my SLC 08 Convention Album (my obsession and focus right now). So for all of you old time scrapbookers, do you remember when we use to cut out our photos in shapes (don't laugh you newbies!! and no offense to those who still do!!) but I actually die cut a photo using it and cut it out to layer and it doesn't look so bad.

I am home earlier than expected. I can't post in public, but I'm OK emotionally. I will send a PM in a bit. I just wanted to thank you for the prayers and thoughts and let you know that I'm OK.

Hey Erin - you totally have to listen to Ellie - use the Top Note - you will lovvvvvve it!!!

Jen - replied to your pm. Hugs girlfriend! Now hug those boys and do a little something fun with them tonight - anything - game, movie with dinner on the couch or eating popcorn in bed! Here an hour in the park would be to die for today - it is 70+ degrees here on Nov 3rd! Such a beautiful day (now waiting for the snow to drop on us!).

Ellie - using the "frame" from the top note is a great way to send a photo Christmas card...stamp on it and layer it on a card front, maybe embellish a corner with a small felt flurrie or fancy brad...

Should I not say that it is 77 here? A bit warm for November but not totally un-heard-of.

It's 61 and rainy here. I like it! I've got a crockpot of pumpkin spice soup going in the kitchen.... Mmmmmmm.....

Hey, has anyone else NOT received their Christmas swaps yet? I was pretty sure I sent a priority stamp with mine, but I STILL don't have them. When did they get mailed anyway? Every day I come out of the post office pouting cuz they still aren't here! LOL!
