Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
We are planning a lst splitcoast stamper's "card frenzy" for the Southern Illinois area. We will have to limit this to around 25 people as space is limited.
Where: Mount Calvary Bible Church-West Frankfort IL
Date: July 14th, 2007
Time: 8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Deadline for sign up: June 30th
The fee will be $25. This will include breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks.
Everyone will need to bring enough card kits for each person registered to come to the event, plus two extra. (One to be donated to our soldiers and the other one will be entered into our card contest ( Top 3 to receive prize) and cards will be posted on SCS) These cards should be able to be made in about 15 minutes. Please have all supplies in baggies with paper cut and ready to stamp. Try to have atleast one embellishment for your card.
Rummage sale tables will be provided for any stamps or stamping tools you no longer want and would like to sell. You are responsible for collecting your money for these items. All items need to have a paper with with them with your name on it. - We will need to know if you want a table reserved for you. All current "Stampin
Up" stamp sets will be for trade only.
If you are interested in attending you may p.m. me and I will see that a registration form emailed to you. It must be returned by mail with your fee enclosed.
This should be a fun event for all participants. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Just wanted to let you know I received your entry forms and registration fees. Can't wait til the swap. Thanks for responding so quickly. Kathy, Pam, Theresa, Debby, Donna E., Tina, Shirley, Becky, and Christy U. WOW!
can't believe how fast the spots are filling up. We have a great day planned and look forward to getting acquainted with new stampers.and seeing some familiar faces we haven't seen in a while.
Someone asked me about the theme for the cards. The theme for this swap is the designer's choice. Just make whatever type of card you like. Sorry I forgot to mention that in the original post.

I am so sorry that you cannot make it. What town are you in? We will have to get together another time since you have so much going that weekend.
Ok, Southern Illinois girls and others, we want to hear from you. This is a whole day of food, fun, giveaways, 25 finished cards and great fellowship with other stampers.

I hope ya'll have a blast. The day won't work for me personally though.

Oops, sorry about that. Is it possible it is something that might change? Would be great to get to stamp with you again and visit.
I loved making all the cards at the Collinsville/St. Louis stampede. So many great cards and talented ladies. I look forward to getting to make more at the Card Frenzy and meeting up with old and new friends.
{edited} It's only a few hours from my house to West Frankfurt! WHOO HOO that is very doable. I saw Harrisburg on the map...so I at least have the general idea of where it is. I couldn't find the church but I'm sure it's not too hard to find.
K, off to email the girls now. {edited/added}
Hey Shirley...since I know where you are. How far is the shoe box swap from Equality? I am trying to get an idea of driving time before I try to convince the girls. I will do the map thing too but I thought it would help to know from you...thanks!

They are totally right in the middle of us. I will try to rearrange my schedule and maybe see if Randi is up to a road trip. It's soo fun to sit and enjoy these types of things. We just had a huge demo get together in STL and OMW it was a blast. I love these things.

It is approximately 45 min from Equality. I am so excited that this is doable for you. Yeah!!! I will get directions to the church from Becky so you can find it easier.

Hey everyone, So glad to hear some of you from the Collinsville swap might make it. We are going to post the detailed map after the deadline. Not sure yet about everyone's SCS user name being posted. Some people that are coming are not registered. We are going to try to get everyone to register before the swap. Will post the ones we have after the deadline, too. Looking forward to a great time with everyone.

Yep I have several workshops scheduled in July with the new SU catty out now and it's the only day we could do the workshop so I couldn't change it. Definately next time.
