C'mon by to help create handmade cards for Hospice of the Valley patients.

Please bring your own supplies (adhesive, ink/chalk, stamps, scissors, tools needed to make cards, etc), if you have any paper scraps or cardstock to share, that would be great! Creative STAMPERS to help create cards or stamp envelopes--this is a great opportunity to meet other fellow SCSers and STAMPERS in the Valley of the Sun!

WHEN: SAT. July 12th, 2008 10am-1pm
WHERE: 8550 N 91st Avenue, STE.49--Fire & Friends Art Studio. We have an area set-up for card making and socializing...plus, snacks & beverages.
FEES: ZERO! no fees, no room fees either!

There are over 3,000 Hospice patients a month....usually only 200-300 handmade cards are created. Hospice provides the comfort and support to family members and terminally ill patients...to the very end. (any type of saying except "Get Well Soon" would be great!)

The Hospice Patients truly appreciate the handmade cards, the thoughtful gesture that someone cared enough to hand make a lovely card really means a lot! For some patients, this may be the only or last card they ever receive (if they have no family members), and it usually sits by their bed for them to enjoy....
