Oh Joy! I TOTALLY feel your pain... we just finished fighting about that the other day. Hang in there... we've only been married 10 months... & we know marriage is not easy & it takes work. Hang in there & communicate, as I'm sure you know that...

I know what you are feeling. My marriage has been difficult lately too. 20 years and it is changing and my husband is having a hard time. Remember what a day makes. Tomorrow may be better.

I can totally feel your pain. WE have been living together for 4 years and married for 8 months.. and finances re not fun!
THe whole COMBINED income is difficult for both of us since we are both use to our OWN $$.. but communication is key. Although its a rough patch, if you guys talk about it and get out of it together..then you will be better for it. Since he sucks, then you take the responsibility until he can show that he can be trusted with what is now BOTH of YOURS.. trust me it is not easy but it works. I was HIM and with a little patience and communication we got through it and I am better for it and handle my finances responsibly now.
hi girls. So today is not so good of a day. I just want to kill my DH. I know a lot of people fight about money in a marriage, but I am not used to fighting about it. My DH so completely sucks at handling finances, and all kinds of bills are coming up from his past that he has neglected, and I am not that type of person to let bills go by at all and I stay on top of all my bills, so this is really difficult for me. I just got a bill today for him, and I just want to give up already and that is soooooooo not like me. And with him possibly getting laid off, I just can't take it. UGH. Ok, done venting.
Oh hun...that really sucks! Oscar use to be the SAME way when we first got together and it was really straining our relationship. He had to call a credit consumer thingy and got everything set...MANY OVERDUE BILLS!!! With a newborn baby...it was even harder...so I totally understand you! HUGS BABE!!! Hope all gets fixed fast before it gets worst (bills wise that is). Newlyweds should NOT be having to deal with this! SMOOCHIES!!!

whether it's a looming lay-off or a surprise lay-off like ours, (two weeks ago now) it's not fun and can be very stressful... I just wanted to let you know and I feel your pain. I am sending hugs and prayers your way!!!! Hang in there and don't fight about it.... Bills are not worth it!!!!! Trust me.... Been married to the same non-bill paying DH for almost 25 years!

Some of the stuff is cool, but I am not feeling it..I love the DSP though, always good paper. The new in-colors rock..just looking for some fresh new takes on stamps.

Hey girlie...what is new with you and your DH...are you ready for school to start?
Hey chickie, We're doing good. DH broke his leg playing softball in June. He's in a walking cast. He can walk, but sure likes to act like he can't when it comes to taking out the trash or putting a dish in the dishwasher. He goes back to the doctor on Monday. Really hoping that there will be no more cast!!

ok. I just had a nice calm talk with my DH and came up with a plan and he agreed with it. Luckily he has a job interview tomorrow since he thinks he is getting laid off. I was really nice to him and told him that I could tell that he was trying since we got married and that meant a lot to me and that I was trying to focus on that. I told him I couldn't hold it against him about stuff that happened before the marriage and the fact that he had crappy parents that didn't help matters any. Oh and I had him come to my work office b/c I knew I wouldn't yell or kill him there....................

Oh good, so glad to hear you worked things out. I don't know about you, but I'm stubborn as a mule, so when it comes to compromising, I know it takes some patience & practice.
I've learned that if I walk away from him, go into another room, vent & breathe, then I can come back & talk rationally to him. lol

McFadden, I got more WW paper, so I will get your images stamped and get those out with the Gina K Daisy set PRONTO! (course I must eat din-din first & check for news on the football scene)....
So happy to be HOME - my brain is absolutely FRIED from work today....We have to check each other's work (data reports) as part of our quality measures and well, the one I have to check right now is gonna basically take me the rest of the friggin week because the only way to check it is to replicate the whole freakin report. I swear, it's crazy.
