Definately can't go to Napa w/o wine tasting! In fact...Reagan's middle name came from my favorite winery...Elyse Winery http://www.elysewinery.com/

I'm a syrah kinda gal but am always good for a good cab or merlot. Not so big on whites and rosee (sp?). I found a rubber romance stamp that I had to have.... says "friends don't let friends drink white zin". She's going to go good with winobella! LOL My sis and her dh are aging their first barrels of wine (merlot I think). I think we get to try it next year. This year they are buying syrah grapes...I'm excited about that one!

I'm not sure...my BIL works for 3 wineries so they always have a plan of where to go...here is one of them http://www.girardwinery.com/ yummy petite and a big bold cab. The other one is http://www2.provenancevineyards.com/en-us/flash.htm I'm not so big on their wines but he likes them (and gets them for cheap!). I forget where else he works...

Diet RC is basically brown water....no caffiene, hence the cappu every morning.

Was just over browsing the Hero Arts site, and just saw the most fantastic tutorial on Prisma colored pencils and the Gamsol stuff. I'm a little behind the times and never really understood this technique. Yet I always wondered how everyone was getting this great shading on the cards. Now I get it! So now I'm gonna search for the best price on Prisma's.

Also Hero Arts has the new Winter Catty online, more $$ to Archivers.

Hey mchappy, I love my prismacolor pencils, just be aware, if you get them, DON'T drop them cause the leads break really easy...and then they are a pain to sharpen. But I love mine (and the Gina K mineral spirits is basically gamsol)

Ok... so I am starting to freak out a little!

I've got 190 favors to do for a fireman's ball due by Sept. 8, 5 swaps due in Sept, DJ's Ho swap, my cousin's baby shower gift (altered jars to be filled w/ q-tips, cotton balls, wipes, etc), & a scrapbook as a bridal shower gift.

Oh my gosh!!!! Anyone willing to help relieve some of my stress????? I'm FREAKING out!!!

Reminder to LJ, you don't have to iron towels, just snap and fold.

I came so close to ordering Prisma's, 72 count set, $52.99, the stumps, sharpener and shipping, somewhere around $70.00 @www.utrechtart.com, but I couldn't do it. Is that a good deal? Seemed like it was to me???

Have a serious question here....I'm in a Red swap, so...is Purely Pomegranate considered Red?

This is what she wrote, I also PM'd her....have 2 spots and just enough red paper, so if I mess something up.....

Red Red Red!!! My First Swap -Due 8-12

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love using red no matter if it is paper, ink, ribbon, etc. - however I always seem to get stuck when trying to put it all together. I thought I would host my first swap and would love to see what everyone can create when adding Red to the project. (I love to get ideas!) Please join in the fun
