On November 5 the Connecticut Rivers Council will hold its first Scrapping for Scouting event at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, CT from 8AM to 8PM.
Scrapping or Scrapbooking is a method for preserving personal and family history in the form of a scrapbook. A scrapping event gives novices and avid practitioners access to vendor materials, idea exchanges, swapping materials as well as other fun activities.
The Scrapping for Scouting event costs $55.00 per person and includes a $10 food voucher, door prizes, raffles, and complimentary snacks and beverages. Activities include free “make-n-takes", a tag sale and swap tables as well as the many vendors. Limited sponsorships and vendor spaces remain available.
