Hi guys, if you would like to join the "Unwanted/unloved" swap what it is is a medium 1st class mailing box (free from the post office) fill it with all the things you just had to have and never used, or you have 2 of the same thing, things that you have been meaning to use but have sat on the shelf unloved.
Please fill the box with stamping items or items that can be used for stamping, no paper filler or pea nuts.
let me know if you would like to join, you can have more than 1 box if you wish, you will take as many home as you bring, you lose nothing, and may gain things you will use in return.
There is no money value, so you may put a more costly item than you receive but it will be a full box.ju
Please do not write your name on the box large, just put your initials really small on the top, so I can cover this with a # that way your can look if the box your pick is your own, only then can you change it.
Laurie, Had a really nice evening with you and your little one last night. Please take meoff of the 6x6 scrapbook page swap, it will be nice to have one less thing to worry about.

would it be bad if i decide to do unwanted thingy at the last moment, i am currently cleaning such room and may come accross oddles but not sure if i can get box etc amd fill by then, so afraid to commit until next week of so

I'm pretty sure you can still do this even if you don't sign up in advance. I think that if you bring a box, you leave with a box. I'm sure when Pat sees this, she will clarify!

As we are nearing the Oct. 1st deadline, please check to make sure I have all of your swap choices correctly noted. Also, if a few of you could check to make sure my numbering is correct, I would appreciate that also. I botched that up a couple of years ago and don't want to have it happen again !!

No, it's not there, because I failed to figure it out! I just did and added it to the participants. Everybody should prepare 7 kits and 4 completed projects.

I thought it would be more... LOL I think I have enough shoebox kits to cover my NVR card front, the 7 kits and the 4 extras are already done.
I did a 12x12 step by step instruction board for my shoebox project as well. Well off to package up my kits and get started on my NVR swap.
Plus I have 2 other swaps due at the same time as this get together... I'm tired already just thinking about it...

figure, if I do a card or project a night for both the Syracuse and Rochester swaps and the cards I need to prepare to do in York + I will be doing a card design a night for the next 2 1/2 weeks straight. Gives me a goal to complete something every night and the cards to work on during work breaks and car travel time. So far the ATC's are done and the stamp'in up and non vendor for Rochester at created. Shoe box is on the drawing board for tomorrow. Now off to resew 3 hand sews from work before I go to bed.

still - so quiet - got my stampin' up and atc's done, the non-vendorsample card is made and in process - (have to wait for the glue to dry on the napkins I applied and as the shoe box card - I'm teaching it to another group on Tuesday night to work out the bugs - wish me luck.

Thanks Lauri! I had a wonderful weekend. Drove into Toronto on Saturday to watch my youngest daughter sing at a children's festival at the waterfront ....sort of cold with the wind coming off the water, but fun anyway. On Monday, my oldest girl came over for a Thanksgiving dinner.... so much fun to see my youngest grandson again....he's almost 5 months and weighs 19.2 pounds. He's going to be big like his father, who is 6'5".
Melissa had to work nights over the weekend and I haven't talked to her to see how it went.
Well, I'd better get started on my shoebox card. I finally got some inspiration and think I may know what I am going to do (if it works out).

I have nothing! Tummy's Been feeling off all week...I'm tired of not knowing what to eat! Plus I'm trying to prep lots of shoebox projects for our day of making massive quantities of holiday cards for the troops on Saturday. Sunday-Friday are going to be crazy prepping for Rochester! Sunday Cindy, Bonnie, and Linda came over to sort cards that people have donated this past year. Last night I went to bed and napped after work for a couple of hours. Last night and tonight I folded hundreds of card bases. I also did some punching with my fancy corner chompers. Tomorrow and Friday nights I need to go through everything and pack them. Luckily I only have to drive 5 miles away to the VFW Saturday! Oh plus I have to finish 10 ATCs for an online swap...what was I thinking??? Nothing like last minute to jump start creativity! I have been throwing things into two unloved boxes as I come across them in my search for stuff for troop cards.
Nancy, boy or girl??? A friend is having a boy tomorrow on 10/11/12...hoping all goes well for a healthy baby!
Gayla...sorry you've been sick. Get better soon!

I'm very concerned ... I have ONE swap complete. Kiddoes coming tonight to bake with me. I have to hope to get LOTS done on Sunday ... they are all leaving that morning. It's been pretty hectic at my house!
