WA * Second Seattle Area ShoeBox Swap and Other Fun Stuff! April 24 Only 9 spots left
Location - Marysville, WA
Date - April 24th
Time - 10am - 4pm
Cost - $10 to cover rental to the room and food only! Once you sign up Karen will PM you her address so you can mail your check. Deadline to have your check in Karen's hands is April 1st!
Shoebox Swap � Design a project for everyone to make (card, ATC, mini-book, 3-D, etc.). Bring the materials for each person to be able to make your project (cardstock, stamps, ink, embellishments, hole punches, cutting tools, scrub & mist...etc.) Label everything with your name. Precut as much as possible and put all of the ingredients in individual baggies. It helps to have one baggie per person so that if we run out of time we can grab the bag and assemble at home. Make a finished sample of your project to be left at your station and put your name on it so we know who designed each project as we move around the room. It is always fun to put cards with faces. Each person will set up their stuff at a station and then everybody rotates around the room and makes each project. You can go at your own pace that way. Number of Projects to be determined by sign-ups. We may have groups!
Favorite Project Contest - PLEASE make 2 of your shoe box swap item! (One to display at your station and one to display on the contest wall!) We will display the projects and everyone will vote and the winner gets a prize!
Basic Supplies - Each person should bring their own basic adhesive, scissors, etc. to carry with them for all of the projects.
Food � All food will be supplied! If you have a specific dietary need please let us know or feel free to bring your own lunch!
Name Tag � Make your own name tag so everyone knows who you are. Put your SCS name and your real name on it (so we don�t have to say �Hey, You!�).
Door Prize � If you want to receive a door prize, bring a door prize (valued at $10). A lot of people make handmade items or bring stamping/scrapping supplies.
Secret Sister Swap � Sign up by (to be determined by swap date) - Sign up to be matched to a secret sister who will also be attending the swap. I will PM you a questionnaire to fill out. Once sign-ups are closed, I will make random assignments and let each person know their assignment. You will make a gift (valued at $15 or more if you are so inclined) for your secret sister based on her questionnaire and bring it to the swap. We will designate a time for exchanging gifts.
Paint Can Swap, Baby Food Jar, or other swaps may be set up depending on the response! Please let us know what you guys want!
Space is limited! Please reserve your spot as soon as possible!!! And mail your check to Karen to make sure you have a spot!

Hi! I am so glad that we have so many gals joining us! Just and FYI.. I broke my right hand today, and I'm a "righty" so forgive my slowness and my typos! I should be out of the cast soon... It's not too bad of a brake! I was having a moment this am and shut the glove box with pinky and ring finger still inside.. Please do not try it!!! So I just wanted you to know why I am slow and not typing so great! :0

Gaernet! Thanks for the advertising! The hand is getting better, but my good pain meds are running out! I think it would be fine if the baby girls would not touch, bang, or hit it! you know how kids are! I am waiting to hear back from a few more girls! I am alreadty planning my project!
I received Garnet's invitation and I would like to come and I'm asking my mother-in-law Rose Thygesen if she would like to come. I'll find out by tomorrow and then we can mail our checks together.

With this many gals signing up we will probably be doing the swap in Marysville. The room we have reserved can fit 50 people. Glad another gal wants to join our group. I'm looking forward to stamping with everyone again.
