Reason: poll closed
FYI-The poll says it will close on 9/7, however I am in the process of changing that to 9/24, because I want everyone to have the next month to join in.
Please remind me, is this SUO? May I please have more details about the event -- do we each bring a project to share, and pre-cut for approximately how many people? Thanks Blessings, Lela

Hi Lela,
No, this is not SUO. Yes, everything would be pre-cut and ready for people to assemble. (in the future there may be a hostess that will want their swap to be SUO, but this one is not)
Does anyone have any questions regarding what each area is that you are voting on or what would be required? Please post the question on here or PM me.
Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday. I've been busy all week getting ready for a Surprised 70th Birthday (Hawaiian Luau) for my MIL that my husband and I are hosting...but since he works and I don't, guess who gets to do all the cleaning and shopping lol...So, I've been shopping and getting everything ready for it.
Boy will she be surprised. We've got some guests coming that she hasn't seen in a few years since they live out of town and she will be surprised to see them and finding out they made the 3 hour trip just for HER!
Hi! I've voted and am a tentative yes on attending. Since I'm coming from Fresno and that is right around our grading period (teacher) I need to make sure I can juggle the day trip.
thanks for hosting!!!

We'll know the night of the 14th what creation we will be working on in October.
Sorry I have been MIA for a few days. I hosted a Surprise 70th Birthday party for my MIL yesterday, with about 30 people attending, and between finishing up final things, picking people up from the train stration, and keeping my sanity lol, I've been busy. Most everyone is gone now except for my BIL & SIL who will leave tomorrow.
I hope everyone has had a safe and fun weekend and has the time to work on some creations.
Hey ladies,
Yes Candice I'm very interested in this swap! but I don't know about the date yet. My son's b-day is the 26th so that Saturday may have to be party day, we'll see how it works out.
Hi all!! I thought I subbed to this thread. Evidently I didn't. Won't know until the middle of October whether I will be able to come to this swap. My husband's bicycle club has their annual Monterey ride that weekend. We'll be in San Luis Obispo the first weekend in October so don't know if we are doing the Monterey trip too. I will be in touch, before the cut off date for sure.
I want to come and I think I have a couple of my friends who want to come as well - Candice, that would be Kerry and Wendy :-) I will let you know for sure - gotta check the schedule as I may be out of town that weekend.....

Hi Alex,
Just let me know and since they are not members of SCS, let me know what they want to vote for, so that I can keep track. Hopefully you won't be out of town that weekend, that would be such a bummer!
Candice...Are you located in Sac..it takes me 2 hours to get there so I am just wondering before I can commit...or vote...Thanks, Sue
Hi Suzy, Yes I am in Rancho Cordova off of Highway 50 & Zinfandel. We would LOVE to have you. Our last swap, we had 3 ladies from the Chico/Oroville area. I'm not sure where you are coming from.
I will be there on the 24th. If I can't make it, I'll let you know. I am fairly new to card stamping (just a few years with Stampin' Up) and haven't done any swaps before. Don't know if I could do this every month but it sounds like fun.

Hi Jen,
We would love to have you there. Our swaps happen every 2-3 months depending on the dates the hostess chooses. They seem complicated, but they really aren't, espically after you attend your first one.
This sounds like fun! I live in Jackson and would love to do this but I've never done a swap! I've been stamping for about 6 yrs and been an SU demo for hmmmm 6 yrs! I possibly might have a stamping buddy that might be interested also.

Hi Renee,
It would be GREAT to have you. What I am going to do, is send you a PM and it will explain a little more of what we do.
Is everyone enjoying this weather or what? I...like it, only because it is a change, but I do enjoy the heat as well.
Is anyone going to the Air Show today? For those that have been to my house, the airplanes are literally flying over our house...so we've had the "air show" for about a week now, with all of the different airplanes practicing. Although it seems alot quieter today, not sure if they are flying higher because of the weather, or what it is. So, it has been enjoyable
Hope everyone has a creative and crafty weekend ahead of them. I am headed to 2nd Saturday to support the Junior League of Sacramento and pass out flyers for a fundraiser they are having in a few weeks. I've never been to 2nd Saturday downtown, so it will be fun to see what it is all about and also support a great cause.
Have a great day everyone. **and remember 3 days left to vote, so if you know of anyone else...let me know**
I'm LOVING this weather. It isn't hot or cold and there is a nice breeze coming through the house, which means no AC
I'm off to make some Thank You cards to send out from my MIL 70th Bday party. I bought some DP at Micheals and like it but it didn't have a Hawaiian feel to it, which is what the party was. So, I was going to settle. Yesterday I went down to Fairfield for an event at Mainely Stampin, and found some DP that is peeerrrrfect for the TY cards, so I will get to creating those
