I left you a message on the other thread you've commented on ref the same basic info. I'd love to get together with folks from the area. I live in Reidsville which is about 1.5 hrs from Hillsborough but would be willing to travel.

If you are willing to travel here, then I'm all for it (but I likely won't be going your way - I'm really lazy about driving further than 25 or 30 minutes). Mebane is about 20 minutes from me. I did a google map check - it said Reidsville is 52 minutes from Mebane. Would you be interested in meeting up for lunch and maybe some shopping at the Tanger Outlets (make it more worth the drive) - just so we can meet? If you like Mexican food, La Fiesta is right across from the outlets and has really good food for a reasonable price. If you are interested, email me!
I'm sure we could work something out with that. My oldest daughter lives in Caswell Co. She takes the 141 exit (hwy 49) to hwy 62 into Caswell Co. It is only about 15ish miles from the exit to her house. I'm sure she'd love to come as well. She's also a crafter.

Mary, so nice to talk with you today. I can't wait until Monday. I did finally take a minute to take a peak at your gallery and it is beautiful. I tried to add pics to mine but couldn't get them to go on getting the message that it was too large. I tried to re-size and thought I'd done so (or at least my computer told me I had) but it still said it was too large. Oh well, maybe I'll try again another time. Hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow (today). I have lunch with a friend then home to craft or clean (I'm leaning towards cleaning LOL).

Hi Donna - I enjoyed chatting with you as well and I'm looking forward to meeting you in person! I believe my gallery images are about 5x7 inches (or 380x500 pixels) and 72 pixels per inch (ppi).

I had the best time today with Mary. We met for lunch at La Fiesta and then some shopping. We went to the Tanger Outlet, I'd never been there so lots of fun, and got some tops and shoes. Then we went to Michaels and goodies were gotten there too. We'll have to do it again!

What's shoe box swap?
Sorry for the delay - it's been a little crazy around here today -
A shoe box swap is when several people attend an in-person swap/craft day. About a week or so before the swap/craft day we find out how many people are going to be attending. Then each person makes a card sample and then card kits for each of the attendees. You put yours in a shoe box with your sample card on the outside and each person makes a card from each of the boxes. I'm not sure I described that well, but I hope you get the idea.

Thinking about doing a shoe box swap at the lake house on October 1. Bunn, NC. I have several bedrooms at two different houses that people could stay at if they wanted to come the night before. Any opinions on that date?

Did you ladies see about the Crop scheduled for Sept 10? It is on fb. While it's 2 hrs for me to drive - I might consider it. The fee is $25 which includes breakfast, lunch & snacks PLUS a bunch of goodies - suweet!
