*Waving Hi*

Just wanted to pop in and say Hello. Been crazy busy with family in-town and the Science fair project is due next week for my oldest. Just finishing it up this weekend. I haven't been in the craft cave in over a week, I'm really feeling the withdrawal.

Better get back to him while the twins are sleeping
Ta-Ta for now.

Tree is undecorated and decorations put away, although there is a naked tree in my family room! Too cold to take it out! Big pot of split-pea soup on the stove and we're just waiting till time for the game.

I've been off 16 days all together and I haven't done a thing! And I've loved it!

Dawg cold out! Dogs still curled up in beds with old towels and the heater keeping every one snug.

Stamped some cute little tags now to wait for them to dry. Need to get some candy for my SBS treat boxes -- will probally do that this week. Hopefully it will warm up a little.

Kathi, love the avatar, that pup is having too much fun!

HI April!

Chili is in the crock pot to warm us all up. I can't wait for the girls to see their friends at school tomorrow.

Just back from the movie "Nine" Loved it. If you like musicals this would be good to watch.

Well, I worked on the card some more. Still not likin it. Think I'll go to Michaels tomorrow and look for some lighter blue paper. Nothing looks good. Had to use two different printed papers as I didnt have enough of the the one. Same color pkg tho. I had to walk away from it earlier. It was frustrating me so much. I dont have a lot of extra paper to experiment with tho. Oh well, you guys dont have to tell me you like it cause I'll just think you're bein nice anyhow! Sigh..... Why do I freak out so much w/these things. I think its because you guys always make such nice, put together looking cards. Mine arent cohesive or something. Anyhow, off to cuttlebug some more. Toby isnt getting his evening walk Ihad planned on.
Have a great evening everyone!

ARGH! I spent 1/2 hour looking for a cuttlebug plate I "just" had on the table. Finally found it in the trash, which was full of course. They are so flat they can slip down. The table was crowded and I gues it slipped off. I was even crawling around on the floor. Don't visualize that - you'll go blind! OK, Im calm now and will continue this ugly card tomorrow. At least I can sleep now that I found the thing.

Poor Rose, you are really having a tough time of it over your card! And I'm sure it is very nice, I've loved the cards you've brought to our swaps! Please don't stress over it, this is supposed to be fun! I can totally relate though to losing the Cuttlebug folder, I've done stuff like that and it is so frustrating! Glad you found it so you can get some sleep!

Morning Ladies! Wheew just got Evan on the bus I'm frozen from the knee down. On a + note the wind died down so it wasn't so bad. I was thinking yesterday if the wind/cold is still like this tomorrow I'll drvie the car to the bus stop! LOL

The SBS stuff is pretty much all done. Whoohoo! The Family and I are going on Thursday to cici's for dinner and we will pre-order the pizza then. Other than that I think everything is taken care of. I can't wait I need a day away after the long Holiday.

Have a great day ladies.

Morning all. Waiting for the BGE guy to check my hot water heater. Im sure I need a new one.
Amanda - I cant imagine all the planning you have to do for these things. Luckily you are good at it and organized.
Kathi - I always stress over everything. This is nothing new. Seems to get worse as I get older for some reason. Most things I care LESS about but commitments make me nervous. I think its the colors on the card I dont like. I am not a big Earth tone fan but most people like the colors.
Have a good day everyone! I will have to go out some time today to get some basics - bread, milk and CHOCOLATE! Brrrr. I see its 23 deg now.

Glad to see someone else with the same needs as me. Yeah the SBS are a little bit of work but they are more FUN! Fun always wins out.

Went out this afternoon for my violin lesson, it is so much fun! I just love my teacher. Now I get to play "big girl" music. We'll be working on duet's. Oh so much fun. Kinda challenging, but at least my ability to sight read music isn't too shabby!

I hope to grab some stamp time this evening. I really want to cut my gable box die that I got before Christmas. I am waiting for my new score-board dies from sizzix. I wish I had room for a grand mark and all its accessories, those dies are spendy!

DH and I are going out for a date, so I'll catch up when we return home! Hugs to all!

The guys at work today kept going in and out the front door. I couldn't get warm at all. One of the bad things about being up front I guess. But I still love my new job - I made the right decision to head there.

Thanks Amanda! You have fun as well at the SBS. We'll get back up there maybe next month even if it is just for a day.

FLOOD! Well, actually just a very big yucky leak! I went to get some auction items from my shelving and my socks got wet. I went to get a towel to clean it up. I moved something from the bottom shelf (built in shelving - wall to wall, floor to ceiling in my craft room) and found the bottom of the plastic container all wet. I began moving more stuff and found the wall wet several inches up (mushy wallboard), the bottom 4 feet or so of wood shelving soaked, the sides of the shelves wet up 5-6 inches as well as rug... The shelves are normally covered with stuff, mostly in plastic containers, but some in cardboard boxes (now history!) So now the contents of several shelves is covering my table - amazing how much stuff I had on those few shelves! We have to find out where this water is coming from and fix it fast! I need my table back so I can stamp again - gee good thing I have my SBS card done already as I have no space to work! Most stuff is fine, although I did have to throw out some paper, a few books and some misc stuff.

Oh, NO!!! My friend just had a similar problem and found out it was caused by water seeping in from the outside...and of course, her homeowners' insurance doesn't cover seepage...hopefully your's is a minor repair!!

Good Morning Ladies!

Poor Jeaneen, you sure have had a time of it lately! I hope it's not something major going on!

Didn't see any white stuff here in Glen Burnie when I let the dogs out but I think they are calling for some of it on Friday!

Yikes Jeaneen! Glad most items are in plastic and safe.

No white stuff up north.

I just got up from a LOOOOOOONG winters nap. Seriously, 10 hours! The only reason we got up at 9:20 was because someone knocked on the door to see if they could take the book case we had on the curb. I don't get it. If it's on the curb, take it. But people here always ask. They are so nice. So, now I guess I'll get the baby up, yes, it's after 10 and she is still quiet, although I can now hear her moving. Everyone went to bed early last night too. The Hubs will be upset, nobody slept in like this while he was on break They only sleep for Mama! Good Girls!

Oh Jeaneen, I feel your pain. Im glad not much stuff was damaged. Years ago I had the same thing happen in our basement when the sump pump went out and we didnt know it. Unfortunately, most of my homemade Christmas ornaments had to be tossed. I hope you can find the source of the problem fast.
Kimme - did you drug your kids or what? You all must have been exhausted. Its good for a young mother to get to sleep in once in a while.
I must focus - finish up packing the Christmas stuff away, clean up the kitchen, laundry, whatever. Must focus and FINISH one thing. I jump around from one thing to another and accomplish little. Im on my way to get my 2nd cup of coffee, maybe I'll get motivated. Have a great day everyone.

Hi Elizabeth. Most here are in AA or PG county but there are a few of us stragglers throughout the state. I am in Carroll and I think Cindy is out your way. If you like to stamp and eat and chat, this is the group to join.

I don't know what it was. I think being back in school yesterday helped the twins get rid of some energy. Kerri always sleeps like that, and I just happened to go to bed early last night, something I need to do more often. I got used to sleeping in a lot while The Hubs was off. I mean if he got to sleep in 4 extra hours, then I should be able to get 1 or 2 right???

I'm in perpetual laundry mode. I used to try to do it all in one day and only do it 2 days a week, but in the winter the clothes are just too bulky, and more of them, so I am doing 2-3 loads a day, EVERY DAY. I swear I am going to teach these kids how to do laundry by time they are 10. As it is Mackenzie likes to help me fold (or try) and she is great at matching up the socks. She knows that washcloths, dish towels, burp rags and socks are all hers, and she gets upset if I try to fold them first. I gotta love that kid.

I just got word that the magnet sheets have been shipped, with an anticipated delivery date of 1/8, so I can bring them to the SBS! I did order an extra package and will bring them for the auction...

Janeen, I'm glad there wasn't too much damage to your stuff. Hope you find the problem and it isn't too costly to fix.

I'm curious - does anyone insure their stamping stuff in any other way than under their homeowners policy? Just think of trying to replace all of our goodies.

Welcome Elizabeth. I discovered this group of wonderful stampers last year. They are the best! We do enjoy a good time!

I am sure the wetness in my craft room is seepage. There is a downspout in that corner and it needs to be angled better to prevent future occurances. In the mean time, I have a soggy mess and we will have to remove wood and wallboard to correctly repair the damage. I do have to find a place to store this stuff as it is all piled on my work table and I think it will be a while before the repair is completed...

10! What are you waiting for?! Nate knows how to do laundry he's better at it than my hubby is.
