Hey Gloria...we miss you on FB. We were lucky. Our power stayed on & none of the many many trees around us fell. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday.
You were lucky. You have a lot of trees around you. I was just hoping our Maple tree in the back yard didn't fall on our neighbors house. She wants us to cut it down, she is afraid it will "fall on her bedroom at night and kill her". Those are her words not mine.
Good evening Ladies of Meade. I just finished making Chili (yum) and doing dishes. It was brownie Thursday.......but no brownie...so I will have ice cream for dessert! Hope all is well with everyone and power stays steady for you all. I take it family is gone (big sigh of relief) for Amanda and all is back to normal, whatever normal might be! Saying many prayers for the folks in NY/NJ! Night all!;)

I'm here! Never lost power, although I was at work from 12 noon Monday until 8 a.m. Tuesday...so I didn't get to enjoy the fact that I didn't lose power! BUT...found out today that those of us who worked will be getting awards! Whoohoo! Maybe I should believe it when I see it before whoohoo-ing...

Tomorrow is Friday...and you know I love me some Fridays ;)

"O" you all are being so fresh. It is Friday. Hubs got a new battery for my car, I didn't have to put the van in the garage, he did it for me and I am ready for some week-end. I don't know if it's all the storm stuff or what but the week seemed very long. Angie, you are so good. You deserve recognition for your efforts! Where is everyone today? I have been taking all my stamps mounted on wooden blocks and removing them today. I still have a few to do but I am done for today. I have had these cases forever and it seems nice to be getting this done.

I need a computer class. Really I do need a computer class. I went into my control room and deleted some files. Evidentally I deleted something that I needed. :( The computer kept telling me that to increase the startup speed I needed to take somethings off it and gave me the link to the Add remove thingy. So I went there and removed a few things. Now I can't play pogo and God knows what else. I tried to restore and I probably made it worse. I don't know. I guess I need to stop trying to fix things.
I am REALLY okay, I just have some blahs from the time change. I will work through it and find that silly smile that I need to face each day! I will put on extra jewelry and wear lipstick and laugh at nothing until it's all real!
I know what you mean Ms. G about the computer. I desparately need to get a new computer as mine is on the verge.....and always telling me I have "high usage" and one of these times, it will crash. Oh well, all in good time. I just deleted a bunch of pictures and things but it didn't help. Looking forward to the 23rd class and the 24th wreath making and whatever else anyone wants to teach us. Computer classses would be good!

Re computer: Did you empty the trashcan? Did you empty the email stuff? sent messages, trash? There are also hidden files that we dont think of. I know I have a lot of stuff in downloads that I just look at on line and never save, but there it is in my downloads. I go thru that and delete it. have to do it carefully tho. Sometimes when i save things, it goes there instead of whre I want. Couldnt be operator error of course.
Everyone have a good day. Im hoping to get my butt in gear and do something useful today before I go to meet a friend for lunch. Two days in a row. Had lunch w/old work friends yesterday.
No didn't draw the girl. I got a book to learn, does that count. lol I copied the image from that book and cut it out using different papers. The background I did using the same method I did the cards using different colored sprays.
Of course it couldn't be operator error. Jim said why do you keep doing this!! I guess I must do it often. lol
So...got a little mojo back yesterday and today. Made several cards, mailed them to a couple magazines; finished a design team card; added a blog post and scheduled 3 more posts.
Lunch with my Aunt and an old friend today - dinner tonight with my high school classmates.
And...tomorrow is Friday! You know I love Fridays ;)
