Bleh!

Last night I was very proactive and I set up the coffee pot to go off automatically. I left DH a note saying how it was set up to make 6 cups at 7:45. I figured if he got a bug up his butt he could have that pot and make me another. What did he do instead? He drank over half the pot, leaving me with just enough to fill my cup and made it at 6:45 so the maker was turning off just as I was getting up. HOW RUDE. I am going to need LOTS of coffee to get through this dreary day.

could be worse, Kimme: my SiL BROKE the coffee pot this morning..and she lives at home with a man who drinks coffee literally all day long.

it doesn't rain, it pours.

John sprained/strained his back the other day. he has lots of pretty pills to take, but he has been in massive pain since Tuesday Night. went to Medical yesterday morning.

we got yelled at by one of his many sistersas she was trying to get all the siblings up for Christmas this year, but we can only swing T-giving. Now that the darn budget is passed we should see orders fairly soon.

and my computer monitor died today.. at least I am pretty sure it's more than just mostly dead. for the last few days it's been wonky, taking four or five times turning it on and off before it stays up. this morning.. no such luck. so I am using John's laptop but most of my files and the like I cannot access. Luckily we have a spare monitor that I am hoping he can hook up..even with his bad back.

it's an excuse to not spend all day on facebook.. I have three loads fof laundry to fold, already made up the grocery list and Maybe I will go ahead and set my Fall decorations out; I have a new Scentsy warmer to break in dontyaknow....

so if ya don't see me around, I am just incommunicado for the day.. WooHoo...

Seriously? That's great news! I have yet to hit the ribbon outlet, so going to both would be an extra special treat. There is also a nice stamp store owned by a Mennonite lady in Greencastle, PA - not sure where the new Hobby Lobby will be.

Nice jobs ladies. Tracy, your first prize is that you have the distinct pleasure of hostessing the next challenge. Your second prize will be given to you soon. Nice job all. What amazing fun! Such an interesting concept and each card was great with fun backgrounds.

Tracy, I look forward to what you come up with. You must make it affordable.....remember, not 100 pieces of hardware or anything! Only you can carry that off.

Loretta, Mary and Kimme, your cards are wonderful and no one didn't get votes! Now that is pretty cool.

Way to go girls! All the cards posted were awesome.

Tracy, please include me in your challenge. I'll try and find time to do it now that the shop hop is wrapping up this weekend.

Tracy, hope you are enjoying your field trip and don't have any kids in head locks yet.

DM, hope John's back feels better soon. Good luck with your monitor.

Stacy, will you be seeing Tracy or Amanda any time soon that you could give them my Scentsy order?

I think I'm all caught up and now ready to roll out of here for lunch. Have a great afternoon ladies!

Cindy; I just placed a scentsy order, maybe she can include it with mine.

Ok, here is the deal ladies, I'm almost in trouble. Ok, I should win the ribbon for OCD for ribbon collecting.

I have so much its spilling out into my walkway.

So, I've got an idea (hairbrained as usual but an idea). If you would like some of my ribbon, you only have to bring a couple of bags and come help me sort it out and take a bunch home. I've started the process already with the stuff I will keep the stuff I won't keep is gonna be in a pile for you to come claim.

Most week days are good, from say 10:00 until 1:30. Snacks and beverages provided and several ladies are welcome at the same time.

For those of you who work, I can arrange evening times I just need a day or so notice, Saturday is the only weekend day I can't do since we will be celelbrating Chad's birthday from tomorrow until Sunday. Ahh fifteen!

PM me if you don't already have my phone number! I'm easy breezy to find!

Good afternoon ladies!

Good news today after calling the school several times about bus service for Evan and not getting anywhere I called the transit service that has the contract for Manor view and sure enough there is bus service for K. I knew there had had to be there is always kids waiting for the bus of the morning and Mom's in the afternoon. So yeah no more driving Evan to and fro! But really why would the office staff not know this? Mary this school really needs you! Please come help them! I think I can get you a nice size bonus from all the pissed off parents tired of dealing with the current help. SO what do you say! lol

Really! I'm thinking road trip! I'll have to look up the Hobby Lobby info again and let you know but it looked on the map to be just north of Hagerstown.

Just name the date, I'm up for it , doubt I'll buy much for ribbon except for some narrow stuff that I "need", but Hobby lobby has me smiling!

That reminds me- I bought a Bow-dabra (I think that was what it was called) off of QVC many years ago- wonder where that thing is? I remember it had lots of beautiful ribbons that came with it...off to rummage through the closet...

ALL K students ALWAYS get bus service and they should KNOW that!

Hmm- a bonus? I might have to consider that! I had to go to a (boring) all-day meeting today on Culture Proficiency and Customer Service...guess your secretaries haven't been to that training, yet!

Good morning! Amanda, the boys are thrilled to have the day off from school- and so am I!! I plan on getting laundry done, stamping some and making my dessert for a function I'm attending tomorrow. I just wish the sun would come out...I feel much more productive when the sun is shining!

Welp, John replaced my nice skinny though nonfunctioning flat screen monitor with the ancient behemoth that came with our second computer like 8 years ago.. but it worked fine and John kept it to have a second monitor on his laptop( he's weird that way).

now my mouse doesn't fit on the desk.... It's huge and it's ugl;y and it's in my way but it Works, so there will nothing more than few grumblings until I buy a laptop. I was ready to upgrade to one next anyway and was half planning on doing it before we PCSd so this just solidified the decision.

At least this way John doesn't have to wonder what to get me for Christmas or my Birthday.....

I'm with you on all of it Cherie. I mailed out my niece's Sept Birthday present this week, she has 2 brothers with birthdays this coming week, so I had to get hers out first. I've had a migraine since yesterday, it's dull right now so I am hoping it goes away. Can you pick me up some Autumn colored papers? I don't know how I don't have any, but I was looking yesterday and I don't. Grrrr! The girls and I have much running around to do today, so I hope this headache doesn't rear up again. Poor Kerri hasn't had good naps all week.

Good morning.

Mary, how's your hubby's head? I know you're glad to have a day off. We should have planned a craft shopping/lunch date. Maybe next time.

DM, glad you're up and running again. Isn't it amazing how much computer equipment has changed in just a few years. You'll love a laptop when you get one

Amanda, have fun with your kids today. My DS is off today so my granddaughters are with him.

Planning on cleaning some today and then a date with my DH to the movies.

Have a good one.

Paula- his head is fine, thanks. He goes back on Monday to have the staples removed...I have visions of a giant staple-puller-outer like I use at school! OUCH!

You're right- we probably should have planned a day out...oh, well...yes, maybe next time!

Good morning all.....freezing here at work as the heat is not on yet. Oh well, it's almost over for the day for me! If you have not voted on the scrapbox giveaway, please go vote for Cocchicoo.....I think she is the most positive person on the winning side and she plans to give the scrapbox away to a neady friend. It's not been a pretty contest with lots of dirt slinging (what is it about women,,,,when they start flinging dirt? What is that about?) Anyway, I am hoping she wins and she needs the votes!
Amanda, how are you feeling? Things starting to get back to normal? Mary, enjoy your day off and Cherie, I can so identify about Mr. Mojo, or is it Ms. Mojo? Either way, they are on winter break because of the cold......or the mess on my table. Not sure which. Or the clutter in my mind. DawnMarie....do not sniffle so much.....you have a thrifty husband who was able to save you for now! Think of that as a blessing because not everyone has that. Kimme, thanks for my surprise, so fun! Tracy your surprise will be there this week-end some time.......Hope you are all warm and toasty today.....need hot tea right now!

Well I was going to make a salad for the function I'm attending on Sat but I think I'm going to make buffalo dip for them. I don't feel like going out in the cold to get the stuff for my salad so they will just have to try the buffalo dip. It's yummy and not to bad point wise I use all fat free/low fat cheese's and dressing.

We are a very social group this weekend - all with our gatherings to go to!! I have to get to the commissary and buy my stuff. Am headed out, anyways, so what's another sopping wet stop!? I should have waited and made my Zupa Toscana for my gathering - but, made it yesterday I am sure your group will love your buffalo dip. That is some yumm-o stuff.

Yep it seems that the Holiday rush is starting early for us. I don't think we have a free weekend until like Feb. How bad is that.

If you are still losing blood or have not regained all your lost blood it will make you feel cold. It's a low circulation thing. That's why you are hot when pregnant. I was a FURNACE when pregnant with the girls, but I had like 3 times the normal blood volume going through my veins too.

I would have thought you'd be hot now since your surgery! I started taking soy pills and they've really calmed down my personal heatwaves!

I'm sure they'll love your buffalo dip. Sounds delicious!! I still need to run out to get the things I need to make my Pumpkin Fluff. I hate this drizzle!!
