Whoo Hoo! Mike intereviewed this week for a new contract position (same company just different job) where he actually works at an office (Whoo hoo again)! He will start in-doc at NSA today. I lover him dearly, but also love 'my time' ! He is pretty excited about the possibility.
I am going to make good use of my time! I have some 'heavier' house work I want to do while my guys are at school/work and I have some stamping projects I want to work on.
Of course the laundry and the dogs are always requiring attention. ''

mornin' all. Im off today and enjoyed sleeping in a little. Still got up at 7:30. Made some cute cards at my daughters last night. Off to the trainer at 12, then I think Im going to try to punch out all the stuff for my sbs card tomorrow. I hate lugging all those punches and stuff. See you tomorrow!
Rose, you are might calm for someone who still has SBS stuff to do! I worked on directions but am hoping that folks are a bit intuitive as directions were hard for this card. I am a visual..............How's our Amanda doing? I know she must be having RUBBAH WITHDRAWAL by now. Food withdrawal too! Hope she is doing okay.

I'm back from the doc - it went pretty well. I got two shots - flu and tetanus. Since the RN said my arm might be sore for a few days, I got both in my left arm. Didn't want to take any chances that it might effect my stamping arm! As a preview for the SBS, I am meeting with a few stamping/scrapping friends at church tonight - hoping to finish DD's menus for the big dinner! Can't wait for tomorrow...
I hope you all have fun tomorrow. There is a mini VSN tonight I hope to play along with....maybe. I have also found a lot of fun weekend challenges lately.
I'm praying for Amanda that she is doing well and she and Tracy just have not been on-line to keep us up to date.

It's 11PM, and I just finished my swap card!!! Took 2 hrs...and is sooo not what I was going for....Remember how I have visions that turn into nightmares?? Well, uh- HAPPENED!! LOL! Now, to cut, and bag & hit the sack.
I may just have to call my card "hot mess."
Maybe I will dream it "better" and when I wake up it will be a-ok and not a nightmare...

I just got home from the FUN SBS at the firehouse, I was the first to leave, I'm just still feeling whimpy. Too bad my appetite is so BIG! The food and fellowship where terrific.
Cindy, unfortunately I think I have to bow out of the trip to Amish country. I really want to go, but my schedule is waaaay to full and my wallet too empty. Hope you all have fun!!! I will try and catch you on the next go around...

Hey Cindy just got news from DH that he will be gone on the 7th so I won't be able to attend Amish trip, since I don't want to leave the kids alone that long, and far away. Hopefully I'll be able to catch you all next time.

Mornin' all. The SBS was so much fun Kathy did a great job of organizing and coordinating. It was so great to finally meet some of you in person! The cards were wonderful and soooo creative. Im sorry Im sooo slow! Thanks to connie for helping w/her beautiful cards. Tracey - I promise I will return your beautfiul sample card after I take a look at it w/my daughter. Im looking forward to going through the cards and re-appreciating them. I came home and slept for almost 2 hours!

Oh I feel terrible, got home and was giong through my swaps, and realized I was missing one. Amanda's cute halloween card. So if you still have that extra kit, may I please do your card. I am so sorry. I was starting to feel very whimpy and wanted to finish up.
I went straight home and crashed on the coach until after 6:00. I hope you will accept my apology as it was un-intentional, I even crossed it off my list, umm must have been a brain dead moment.
The swap was awesome, I really enjoyed my day and the really great company!
Amish store tour is out for me now as well, unfortunately finances are a bit tight right now!
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is as follows:
CREATE A SHAVING CREAM CARD.
If you attended the SBS yesterday, you all saw the card designed by Rose's daughter, Michelle. It was wonderful. She did a marvelous swirled background with orange and black and whatever. She even gave me the "extras" because I was so enthusiatic about them. This is a bit messy and may take a bit of time for folks that have never done it, like me. So you have a dealine of TWO WEEKS from today to get your cards in. Now there is no excuse not to try it. If you are unsure how it goes, check out the resources page in Splitcoast, Shaving Cream..........easy peasy. Just need to get a few supplies........
