Ft. Meade shoe Box Swap! Jan 15th, 2011 10:00am-5:00pm at Ft , MD. For those of you that do not have a military ID you are still able to come, you will just need to have a driver’s license or a state ID with a photo, and car info that is required by state law in order to drive.

The swap will be located in the same building as the last several if that helps some of you.
Its Potomac Place Center, 4998 Second Corps Boulevard.

Coming in the Reese Road Gate (hwy 175) Enter the main gate, follow Reese Road until you come to the stop light, turn RIGHT at the light onto MacArther, then turn LEFT onto 2nd Corps Blvd (it's the first left), follow the road until you see the center on your right.
The doors are locked they have had some issues in the past so I will leave my number on the door call me I'll let you in! If your coming or going after 10am the main front door is open.

This swap will be open to 22 stampers. There is a $10 non-refundable charge per stamper to cover the paper products, Prizes, etc. Please fill out the attached form and mail in your $10 fee to reserve your space by Jan 8th 2011. No children under 18 years of age please.

Because this swap will be middle of January...I'm going to have you all mail your checks and registerations just like we always do but I'm not going to cash the checks unitl just a couple days before the swap. If we get snowed out I'll pick another date if your unable to attend that date I'll send your check back to you. Hope this will keep Ol' Man Winter at bay so we can play!

All cards are to be full cards no theme. Please bring enough supplies for everyone to make your card including all cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools, etc. Please also bring your own basic stamping kit, which should include your adhesive and scissors to use on all the projects we make. Please make sure all of your supplies (stamps, ink pads, scissors, punches, etc.) are labeled with your name, so we all go home with the stuff we brought. Each stamper is to have a sample and typed instructions in their box telling how to make their card. Everyone should have their swaps in baggies or envelopes containing everything each stamper needs to do your card. This helps make the swap go smoothly.

There are no vendor restrictions on cards. However please use quality card stock like SU!

Lunch will be potluck please let me know what you will be bringing. I'll list the items so we all know what's coming.

I will also have space set up for a silent auction for whoever would like to clean out stamping/scrapping items they no longer want. I’ve attached the form needed to sell your auction items.

So for a recap here is what you should bring:
-shoebox swap kit for 21 stampers.
-any silent auction items you are wanting to get rid off.
-Potluck lunch item to share
-NEWLY ADDED Please bring Dimensional Dots as part of your Basic Stamping kit.

Thanks Amanda for signing me up! We just got back from the Howliday Party with Dusty, had a wonderful time! There's nothing like a room full of Golden Retrievers, I think there were close to 65 dogs there, and not one fight! I'll post some pics later.

DH just left for the gym. UGH! Now I'm feeling guilty because I didn't go too. Need to get back into the routine especially with all I've been eating lately. Tomorrow, tomorrow....
