I don't think you can either but if you are quick enough you can "edit out" the contents of the post but it is courteous to then type in an short explanation (i.e. double post, wrong thread, etc.)

HTH and ...

As long as I don't have to drive too far in it, I'll hope so for her, too.

First time for all of us getting passports and going outside the US (except for Canada, of course.) Our 1st 2 days were cloudy and windy, but still low 80's. The locals called that a "cold front" lol. Rest of the time it was sunny and HOT--high 80's in daytime and high 70's at night. We did little more than sit around the pool and beach. Did go to the casino a lot and came home over $400 richer! (I won about $250 on the penny slots!!) Also got a mani and pedi at the spa. DD had a facial.
DH really liked it and wants to go back. I want to go if we go in the winter when the weather cools down to highs of 79-80 and lower humidity. It was ok in the shade, but the sun was sizzling. Had to wear spf 60 all the time.

You lucky dog! Is it as ritzy as it sounds at Atlantis? I want to know how the snorkeling is there!

We've finished our Thanksgiving dinner...turkey, potatoes, and stuffing...in about 10 mins.! DH put the bird back in the oven to cook some more...when he cut enough for our dinner he discovered the inside needed more time. I'm stuffed enough! Pie will be eaten later.

I'm back in Craftyland working on Valentine designs for Saturday. Trying to think of color combos for Valentines to use all the Nancy burgundy that I was given by a most generous person! There might be 8 of us stamping away at my house this weekend!

I'm TRYING not to get sucked into all the emails telling me about sales at all the stamp websites! If you saw Craftyland you'd know I'd be crazy to buy anything else!!!

Everyone, three brothers and their families and Dad, just left my place to head back to Dad's (they are all staying there). They even took my DS for a sleep over with the cousins, so time to relax a bit and then off to sleep off my way too big meal. Happy to report that everything came out very good and was on the table at almost exactly 5:00. Hope everyone had a great day!

We also had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ate too much, but that's a requirement. Glad to hear everyone had a nice time with family.

I've been to Hawaii and bahamas ( but didn't get to stay at the Atlantis) but IMO.. nothing beats Hawaii (snorkeling that is!)! especially those sea turtles

We went up for a late dinner at sis's house outside Albany. Grandma couldn't stand DS not having Thanksgiving without DS, so we waited until he got out of work and all went together (DH, DS x 2, DD, and me). Janneke had a blast playing with brothers and cousins. Although my DS's only live a couple miles away, we don't see them much. Nice day.

No shopping for me. I am notorious for skipping Christmas (gifts at least) for all but the baby and the animals. I make everything else, and DH and I buy nothing for each other. Our own little rebellion against the marketing push.

I was wondering where you got the magnetic sheet for you build-a-bear that you had in the tin at the get together.

They were at our local drugstore, being sold as "locker wallpaper". I think they're out like that at the beginning of the school year.

The sea turtles and manta ray were awesome but the water was murky. If you are a diehard snorkler or diver then you HAVE to try Bonaire (near Curacao and Aruba - thus ABC Islands)...crystal clear water and many colorful fish...and not many people to kick you when you're out snorkeling like in tours!

Come on over anytime after 9:30 a.m. and stay as late as you'd like. Sandee's bringing turkey salad for sandwiches and I'll have fruit salad, leftovers, and beverages (but I don't make coffee...sorry!). You may work on cards for the soldiers and/or your own project. There may be about 9 of us...the more the merrier! Anyone else have a change in plans and want to come over? I can PM my address.

No Black Friday shopping but we did do Michael's doorbuster sale yesterday! There was a store about 4 miles from my SIL's home and we went between dinner and dessert to get 8 JetMax cubes plus a desktop organizer. Tony loves put-together furniture and will spend almost any amount of money on stuff to organize what he calls my 'crap" and I won't spend money on storage because I know what else that money can be spent on (i.e. the stuff I need to store). So, we're both happy and hopefully we'll have a decent looking L/R soon (it looks like we moved in yesterday instead of back in July).

Hope everyone's Thanksgivign was great and you all get to enjoy the long weekend!

Tina

We got to Michael's (on Long Island) around 6:15 ... the ride was about 8 miles round trip (from my SIL's house) and the whole adventure was 30 minutes max!
