Supplies: Basic supply kit - scizzors, adhesives, bone folder

Shoebox Project Information: 28 kits + 4 completed.

This is the only mandatory part of the day which will take place on our schedule in the morning and afternoon.

**Please have your shoebox completely prepared and ready to go when you arrive for the gathering. Unfortunately,there have been complaints at past events of people not having their shoebox projects ready for their tablemates to work on, making this reminder necessary. If you don't arrive with a completed and ready to go shoebox project, your tablemates are not obligated to allow you to do the project they have prepared. Prepared means having all of the elements of your pre planned project prepared and ready for your tablemates. Tossing a bunch of random supplies on the table and instructing people to "create whatever they would like" is not acceptable. Please be considerate of others and extend the courtesy of having your shoebox project ready when you arrive. Thanks!!**

*Your shoebox project can be anything stamped*

• If you are making a card, we will make FULL cards using at least one embellishment (ribbon, brads, buttons, etc).
• Quality CS is a MUST!
• Please have all card pieces pre-cut.
• Please bring stamps or other items for your project
• Please include instructions (aka: recipes), tips and any other important information.
• Please bring four extra completed shoe box projects. You will use one as your sample at your table, two for hostess gifts and one for a door prize.
• You may make other projects keeping in mind it should not take more than 10-12 mins to complete.
• We estimate having approx. 5 -6 people at each table and will give final numbers when we have a final count.


Swaps
If you are joining the SU only, please use only current SU products. Please note that if you sign up for a swap and do not fulfill your commitment, you will not receive any swaps from the others in your group.

We will have 5 swaps:
1. Card front – SU only (5 1/4" x 4")
2. Card Front – NVR (5 1/4" x 4")
3. 6x6 recipe swap
4. ATC – Artist Trading Card
5. 3D Item

Swaps are not mandatory – you may participate in as few or as many as you would like. Please remember to showcase your best work using quality products. You must use at least two layers and one embellishment on each swap – thanks!!

Handmade Gift Exchange~OPTIONAL

We will exchange handmade gifts. Please be sure that your gift is handmade and something to do with paper crafting. Please do not bring a non paper crafted gift. For those wishing to participate, please bring a handmade gift with a value of approx. $5.00. Please be sure your gift is wrapped with your name so the person who receives it knows who to thank!!

We are planning a small group event so everyone has time to make the shoeboxes, swap, enjoy a great lunch and have time to spare without all the rushing and confusion of a large scale event. Newbies are welcome since we all have to "get our feet wet" somewhere.

Hi Ladies! How about our Rochester girls bring a friend? It seems like a lot of swappers are afraid to join a new event - trust us - it will be great. We have a great catered lunch and some really great doorprizes coming in. At least 4 doorprizes will be worth $25 each! We are also planning at least 4 group projects in addition to the shoebox projects. We decided that there should be enough time for everyone to do all the shoeboxes or as many as they want.

Hi, Joanne! I'm waiting not because this is a new event. I would love to be there, but because I have a 5-month old baby, I feel a little guilty leaving him (when I'm already gone for the most part during the week because of work). :(
I am hoping that things will be better for us so I can join the Stampapalooza (because he will be older then). I hope that makes sense. In any case, I am definitely crossing my fingers, and I hope there's still openings when I decide I can finally join! :)

Made several copies of your event to take to my group on Tuesday night when I teach at the Oakfield School. We have about a dozen or so strong, so I'm hoping a few will join me. Don't worry about your numbers, pretty soon you'll not have enough room for everyone to come.
